The history of the catholic church is hardly narrow and hardly straight. There is no instruction given to us to appeal to the "authority" of any organization. Look in Ecclesiastes 2 "I hated all my toil in which I toil under the sun, seeing that I must leave it to the man who will come after me, and who knows whether he will be wise or a fool? Yet he will be master of all for which I toiled and used my wisdom under the sun. This also is vanity" I've seen churches start out great and quickly get thrown off chasing numbers and greed and popularity/ avoiding persecution, being cowardly, accepting stupid beliefs to flatter the "strength" of their "faith". I find my home in Christ, no man made thing with thousands of years of baggage and I find many brothers and sisters who call themselves Catholic and they can only say it because they like me can maintain there faith even if the church goes away even if their family does not permit it they are strong and their conviction is sincere.

Hello I love father Lampert I could listen to him for hours. My concern is that I care for my mother whom is afflicted with schizophrenia. Lately I feel challenged when I visit her, I feel she has an entity that has lived with her for decades. I have strayed at times from my Catholicism faith but lI am always seeking a true bond and alignment with Jesus. I feel the lord is my true father he has always been with me and protected me from the wicked world of Satan. I am concerned for my mother and pray that I can connect her with her faith again. I hope to help my mother by getting her to church or by connecting her to some sisters for prayers and blessings her and her home. Lately the time spent with my mother feels like I am being pushed away by a cloud of negativity that guides my mother. She js a sweet lady . What can I do to protect myself , my children when we visit my mother apart from prayer. Thank you for you wonderful documentaries on all things religious.

Prayer is number one. It has power. Jesus is Lord. Of course bring her to Mass if she’ll go, if willing, have her meet with a priest and give confession. Exorcists say that one confession is more powerful than 50 exorcisms. Make sure she’s on the proper meds and taking them. To protect yourselves, use holy water on yourself, your mom, her house. It’s not necessary to let her know. Put a few drops in her drink. 1:54:09 You could ask your priest to bless some salt and sprinkle it around the house or put in her food.Say Rosaries for your mom. Offer Mass for her, either through request with your church, or in silent prayer before Mass. Have a priest come bless her house.

Im not Catholic YET, but i had a long chat this week with a protestant who SWEARS that the Catholic priests are not truly acting biblically when conducting exorcisms and think they don't succeed in their work for this reason. Is adamant that because catholics and Catholic priests are not just following scripture, but traditions and believe in saints and the power of saintly relics, they are not the true word of God either. Seriously, NEW AGERS finding Jesus Christ are the worst with this mantra. BUT, despite the protestant churches splintering off and following their own rules, they are happy to overlook the issues there!!!!! For some reason, the issues in protestant churches are acknowledged but played down and also forcsome reason less evil that catholic issues. Go figure! I love this priest. He's authentic and sincere.

Panes, If you are not Catholic, you won't be able to understand this. Consider finding a parish with an RCIA process where you might be able to meet people who can answer your questions. Many Protestants spend more time trying to debunk the Catholic faith instead of reading the Documents of the Catholic Church that provide teaching.

Money and social status are 2 very REAL idolatries even pursued by Christ believers nowadays. It is the level of maturity that the level of faith a believer has developed privately through the TRUST that a TRUE Christian is willing to let go and let GOD. It is not easy and we should only judge ourselves with this standard to see how seriously we are with our own FAITH and never never use it as a measurement against others in case one is being used by The Devil to cause harms and bring out wars to kill one another.

So I have just excepted Jesus Christ and the holy spirit into my life. I had messed around in the past with talking to "spirit's" and visiting very demonic places. I have always feared of a negative attachment over the years since my life has had many strange challenges. I was woken up a few nights ago with my child's toy (A dinosaur skull" which talks when the right eye ball is pushed). Started making a noise continuously at 1:10am. I prayed to the lord and immediately the sound stopped. Then as I was going back to sleep it started again! I had to get up and prayed to Jesus to banish all demonic forces. I had to move the Skull toy and it stopped. Crazy!

If you're dealing with demonic activity in your house, get a bottle of Holy Water and go from room to room throwing Holy Water while yelling: "In the name of Jesus get out!!!" Keep doing it until it works. :)

Lovely! Thank you for doing this. Fr. Lampert is one of the priests that helped me understand what was afflicting me in 2022. May I add from watching Exorcists Fr. Chad Ripperger, Fr. Carlos Martins, Fr. Inigo Abbad, Fr. Javier Luzon, and even Fr. Vince Lampert… another reason (partly theological in my opinion) for not recording exorcisms is because demons enjoy any extra attention they can get. That said, the main reason always mentioned is to protect the dignity of the afflicted. On a sidenote, demons can completely interfere with technology itself.

I am really convinced my brother is possessed. What he said at 48:00 makes complete sense. He has been isolating himself in his room for years now. He’s a raging alcoholic/prescription drug addict. I called my local church. I don’t want to lay my parents to rest fearing their son won’t be ok in the future.

Another reason why the church doesnt film said Exorcisms is that video can be used in a court of law. Then they got to deal with secular eyes judging the actions of everyone involved. Alot of hassle to do that everytime I would presume.

Just saying, from personal experience. If you think you need help, the first person you go to is God. I wasted half a year of my life because I didn't think to pray about it.. I tried everything else/ even reevaluating my faith. big mistake. Sometimes God lets us fall spiritually for our benefit as is written in Daniel 11. Background: I work in healthcare, I see all kinds of people all the time. When I first noticed something different I noticed that A LOT of my patients had occult tattoos/ clothing. Most of them behaved normally but some of them said uncalled for things that kind of hinted the forbidden knowledge thing, like something in them knew I was a Christian. I remember hitting a deer on the way home and when I was home I noticed birds were like attacking my windows/ cardinals mostly/ it was very unusual, I saw like 3 or 4 cardinals like hovering near our window.. At this point I thought something was up, I noticed my internal voice became loud and it was kind of like my intuition was producing information that I would blindly believe, it was kind of like a drunken feeling in that my judgement was so poor. I would look up some of my thoughts and they aligned with white magic and druidsm. At one point I was looking for meanings in music videos and I kind of went into a trance that made me feel like I could perceive connections between things that I have never noticed before.. The problem with this is.. Though I am skeptical I am also a sucker for an interesting topic. Occult stuff/ demonic stuff CAN BE super duper interesting. The problem is.. IT IS NOT GOOD. It was trying to ruin my life, separate me from my wife for no reason. So just take my advice if you want out.. just make a simple prayer, "dear God I'm not interested at where I am, I want out, help me." That's it. For me, All the creepy stuff stopped abruptly.. The creepy stuff inside stopped and the creepy stuff on the outside stopped.

apparently, this phenomenon has been recorded since the birth of civilization, throughout cultures and religions. why are not more people interested about this aspect? i think we should be all united against evil, no matter what religions or beliefs we're from.

He mentioned “helping people resume their connection with God.” Problem with that statement is if you are a Christian you cannot fall prey to demonic attacks.

Lucy, it is unlikely, as a Cath priest, he would bother with any Prot literature. The Cath teaching goes much deeper. Exorcism goes much deeper than deliverance. Rebecca brown was a layperson. Lay people can attempt to pray for deliverance. But it isca more shallow type of prayer.
