California Travel Tips host Veronica Hill shares her California Science Center Travel Guide in this Los Angeles Travel Guide. This video includes a sneak peak at the California Science Center Ecosystems exhibit, which includes a 188,000-gallon kelp forest tank filled with more than 1500 fish. The Ecosystems exhibit also includes a desert flash flood, polar ice wall and Rocky Shore tidepool touch tank. Other highlights at the science museum, located in downtown Los Angeles in Exposition Park, include a high wire bicycle, earthquake simulator, hurricane simulator and 50-foot animatronic woman named Tess. The California Science Center IMAX theater is also a top draw, as is the space shuttle.

I just visited the science center today and the aquarium is one my favorite parts of that place.

Went yesterday some exhibits are still there but all broken down/ don’t work miss these days when i was a kid going on a field trip to the science center
haven't been here in ages, gonna have to go someday :)
I bet the kids love it.... Oh,and the Big Kids too (LOL) I love the Kelp Forest

i went here for my 5th grade field trip
I went there today 3/18/16 it was fun I went to the gift shop

@19steph83 Hi Stephanie, Even doing these travel videos, I still learn about something new every day. I grew up in SoCal as well and never had been until Tuesday. I could not believe it was free! Be sure to bring your brother and sister. They'll have a blast! Just bring $8 for parking...and have fun!

@ItsQuiteSimple Ah, I understand. My mom is Irish, born in Dublin. I remember the fighting over there in the North when I was kid. I spent every summer in Ireland and have very fond memories, but do remember the violence. However, the people are so wonderful, so conversational and so welcoming. We hope to visit this summer again. It's been since 911 that we were there...

Recently attended this Museum, 2/20. The place is extremely dirty and many of exhibits are broken or missing parts. This place was nice at one time,not anymore. 😓

I could be wrong, and this is probably a late reply, but Los Angeles has adapted to Spanish speakers probably more than any other place in the country. You probably won't have any problem, but I would assume that the displays would be in English.
