This woman is far and away the best weather reporter I've encountered. I live in northern California though not in the Central Valley, but I really appreciate what she has to say about the weather in our region. I had to subscribe to this channel.

I’ve been trapped in my house for 2 weeks straight. It’s currently 110° in the shade and 120° in the sun. Looks like we can expect triple digit temperatures nearly everyday for the next 2 months. I’m so over this… I just want it to end.

Cooling never got to Stanislaus County yesterday. We have had 11 straight days of 100°+ in Oakdale, CA. I think we will see the entire month of July in the 100s down here. There is no relief at all here until Oct. We just have to adapt to the heat. Plant more trees. Bill from Oakdale.

12 degrees above normal thus far for the month of July? That is nuts. 10:30 in the foothills at 3,000 feet. My porch thermometer reads 87!

We are at a cool 70 in the Santa Rosa hills.

This is great weather for prepping people who want to move to Texas.

Been a long time since we have had a stretch of 40C days here in Sebastopol Victoria Australia . maybe 15 to 20 times since 2001 ,Summers are getting progressively cooler here

the Australian Bureau of Meteororolgy's temperature dataset shows the state of Victoria began warming most obviosly around the beginning of this century. It looks like since about 2000 there has been about 0.6 C of warming. Australia has warmed 1.44 C +/- 0.24C since records began in 1910. People can google this and see if they agree or not, and glad there apparently hasn't been heat waves in your neck of the woods, but "progressively cooling" sounds like wishful thinking.
