Thank you for making this video, I always wanted to explore trails in Auburn but worry about the trail conditions, this video really helped me.

There is some work on this route, but it's easier than some of the other options out there for gravel.

You were smarter than me... I tried Clementine and the trail across the bridge where the rangers were. It was intimidating at least for me!

That one does have some bumps and overgrowth that's sneaky.

Hot during the summer. But we only loose a hand full of days in the winter due to too wet conditions.

Great video. Aubrun/Tahoe National forest are full of gravel trails. Have you thought of catching the train to Truckee and riding back to Auburn through the forest? Or Train to Reno and back to Nevada City via Henness Pass road?

One of my bucket list ideas is following the path of the Lincoln Highway as close as possible.

Great guide. I’m proud to call this my home. If you haven’t already, check out the Tour de Placer roubaix that victory Velo puts on every year in the spring. It’s a great gravel ride that changes every year. It explores the foothill gravel in the area with entry fees going to mtb teams.

@gravelbikecalifornia If you’re interested in riding the TdP next year let me know and I can hook you up. I’m part of the crew that organizes and runs the event.

I'd love to. Hopefully, it doesn't conflict with family, but let me know the date when it becomes available so I can plan ahead!

I think the Connector Trail is well maintained, but the Quarry Trail try not to fall off.
