California Front Load Garbage Trucks 4

The first clip is technically Arizona, but close enough to put it in this video. Haha.This video features various front loaders as far north as Santa Rosa, as far south as San Diego, and as far east as Topock. Front load pick up in California is very different than any where else in the country. Most of the containers that you will see are smaller than 4 yards, while in most other states, 8-10 yards are far more common. You will also see a lot of dumpsters in this video with the fork slots on the bottom of the can. That is a very common sight in the LA area, that you won't really see a whole lot of any where else. I hope that you enjoy this wide variety of front loaders!

I really liked seeing the EDCO Amrep empty the recycle carts, and any of the Amreps in general. I would also like to say that at 9:44 you can see a banner for the Rolling Stones playing at Petco Park. I went to that show, and it was undoubtedly the best thing ever.

too much to even comment on, wow. your work at 7:39 with Anderson Rubbish sure stood out, smooth panning and a mean sound to the truck. everything was muuuch enjoyed though. I'm pleased seeing so many of the trucks I saw in pictures...now on video. Also want to make note of the UWS and NASA trucks being especially entertaining.

+Trashman242 Thanks man! That was one of my favorite shots that I got of the Anderson truck. The UWS, and NASA trucks were 2 of my favorites in here, and of course those were 2 trucks that I lost after a couple of shots...

Woah what an intro! Best part of the vid. Other highlights were the NASA Octos, coolest hauler in SoCal. Loved the Crown / Recology half blade C&O or C&O copy or who even knows anymore. Killer shot of the packer with the body raised, and then followed by a bit of bin spotter action. Then the EDCO Octo in downtown San Diego, the pack cycle really made the shot. EDI was great as always, it was all amazing really. Great video Alex :)

+georgewuzheer I have to agree with NASA being one awesome hauler! That Crown truck was the CRS FL that Bill recently filmed. I tried my best with that packing shot. I ran over their right as he was on the tail end of it. Thanks for the comment! I'm glad you liked the video.
Wow, that first CalMet clip was cool...its sad to see the old CalSan lift dumpsters being converted to fork pick up! Great video!

Great compilation here Alex! I especially love the mean growl of the truck at 6:35! What kind of truck is that? Was that a North Bay Corporation truck? And while you were in Santa Rosa, did you film any Heil 7000's, like 9018?

+GarbageSean Thanks Sean! The truck at 6:35 is a pete amrep fl ran by athens, in Riverside, CA. The only North Bay Corporation truck in this video is the able body front loader at 1:30. I did not film any of the 7000's that I saw in Santa Rosa.
