I love it how every show who has teenagers and the parents say no parties while they are away and yet the teens go ahead and have parties anyway. But yet, end up getting caught and getting grounded. Hehe

i loved how matt said "I am sorry" to dennis when dennis ran away. Matt admitted his mistake to dennis that he was so busy trying to impress the important guy and that it was wrong of him to make fun of dennis. That shows maturity.

dennis is too cute

This show was, is and always will be excellent. And I looooved that vest Sly was sporting. Oh, and Jenny’s jacket. Tony’s hat and jacket set were cool, too and Tiffani’s blue velvet dress is plenty of LOVELY! The fashions on this show were totes awesome

well, i guess if you are the oldest and in charge you will kind of boss the younger ones around and that is exactly what matt tried to do with dennis and jenny since he is the oldest. he wanted dennis to clean his room, for which dennis says "all done" and he wanted jenny to take out the trash for which jenny said "pass" and matt said that she can't pass and he reminds jenny and dennis that he is in charge and then the phone rings and matt says " hi mom" and that jenny and dennis are not listening to him. pretty sneaky. he he....

This is why asian parents don't go away for the whole weekend. The kids don't eat properly, they don't study properly, the kid don't do their homework, the kids don't practice whatever musical instruments that they are taking lessons in like piano, violin, viola, cello, flute, or if your indian asian tabla, sarod, sitar, the kids don't practice whatever dance lessons that they are taking like ballet, tap, jazz, modern or if you are indian asian bharatnatyam, kathak, the kids don't practice their western voice lessons, or if you are asian indian, indian vocal lessons like north indian vocal and south indian vocal. Asian parents might go to parties for a few hours on a weekend night but that is it. They like to be scheduled and on top of things.

Love the simpler , good feeling shows…. Shows today want to be realistic and depressing…probably why everyone is an asshole today

FYI the guy playing Jake is not Mark Paul aka Zack Morris. Lol. I looked it up and his name is Jared Murphy. I think we would know Zack Morris right away lol

Sly tells the gang about a "floater party" a secret party which floats from location to location and is organized by a guy named Jake Demonica which is in Malibu. Matt can't go to malibu because he is taking care of dennis. But, didn't dennis have any friends of his own? And his own age? Matt and jenny could have dropped him off there and did their floater party thing and then come back, picked up dennis, and come home. But i guess they could have run into problems there as well.

Parties, girls, boys, dating, were those days and may continue to these present days and now these days it is texting, iPhone, tablet, cellphone, computer gaming and other technologies.

I feel bad for kids these days. they don't have shows like california dreams and saved by the bell to grow up on

Instead the party was moved to Matt's house thanks to sly, and Matt and the gang need to get the house ready for the party. Put away all the breakable items, hide the valuables, put away all of dennis' toys and video games, put out munchies and punch for the guests etc..Matt is cribbing on dennis to leave and not bother them. Matt tells dennis to leave them alone. Being the youngest in the crowd and not knowing what to do, dennis feels left out. He starts playing on the drum set and embarrasses the gang. Matt insults dennis and tells him to go to bed and that he will tuck him in. Matt just wanted to get rid of dennis. Fed up, dennis runs away. Meanwhile everyone is partying and having a good time. After the last song and everyone leaves, Matt asks jenny to go and check if Dennis is ok or still upset. Jenny says she thinks that is a good idea, but since Matt insulted dennis, that he should be the one to go and do it. So Matt goes to check on dennis and finds that Dennis is gone. The gang checks the whole house. No dennis. They check is tree house: no dennis. His bicycle is gone. Then matt gets an idea. He remembers that dennis liked a video game at sharkey's. Matt takes a friend along with him to sharkey's to find dennis and finds dennis there playing the video game that he likes. Matt asks dennis if he and dennis can talk. dennis says what is there to talk about? you are a jerk. matt says come on dennis sometimes you can be a real pain in the butt too. dennis says you don't care about me. matt says come on dennis that is not true. i know i was busy trying to impress that guy and i said some things i shouldn't have. dennis says sure until next time. matt says come on dennis give me another chance. Look I was really worried about you. dennis says really? ok. but we don't have to hug now do we? matt says no. but here. and matt gives his autographed nolan ryan ball to dennis. Meanwhile out of stress, jenny is cleaning the house and the parents come home early. They ask where matt is and the gang lie and say he is sleeping. Then the parents ask tiffany and sly to go home and jenny to go yo bed. Then matt comes in with dennis and tony. Then parents ask where they have been . matt lies snd says that he and dennis were at a movie. The parents say that is good that the brothers are getting along. But next time do it at a decent hour. Then jenny's boyfriend drops by and says that he has gotten rid of his watch and become more spontaneous by not planning every moment. Jenny asks when did she say this? And he boyfriend says, don't you remember, you said this when you threw punch on me in front of forty or fifty people at your party. Now the cat is out of the bag. Because Matt and Jenny weren't supposed to have a party. So the parents ground both of them.

i like jenny's white top that she is wearing in the first scene. it is really pretty

The girl who played Jenny looks like she could be Molly Ringwald’s sister

For some reason, I always loved the dialogue from 07:48 to 08:10. That said, where did Sly get "X.O.C" from?

There's at least one scene edited out (I assume it's the network's doing) - Tony answers the door to at least two other people before Jake arrives, and one of them exclaims "Hey!" when asked for the password, and Tony thinks that's his answer, and doesn't let him in (I think that's what happened, he could have thought the password was "A" instead of "X").

Season one of california dreams was really good and the best season. I don't know why they changed it later on. I still liked season 2 of california dreams when sam and jake joined the cast. I wish jenny would have stayed as well. But after matt left, in season three, and the character of mark winkle(sly's cousin) and the character of lorena (diana uribe) were introduced, i think the quality of the show kind of went down. Probably because Aaron Jackson, who played mark, never sang, and the character of lorena, played by diana uribe, was brought in because the band needed a place to practice after matt garrison's family moved away and sam needed a place to stay. Both of these characters did not add much to the show

I thought that was brent gore was good looking and michael cade was full of energy. 😀

I thought that brent gore (matt) was good looking, michael cade (sly) was full of energy, william james jones(tony) was smooth, heidi lenhart(jenny) was wise and sophisticated and kelly packard(tiffany) was bubbly, cheerful, smiley and innocent.

I actually play in this movie I’m denice the kid I’m a adult now so yes I a star in this movie

At least the actors were somewhat good looking back in the 90s. And many of them did have acting talent. I've seen some of the shows these days and both the acting talent and the way actors look. both of these things SUCK these days. If you ask me, the 70s, 80s, 90s and up until early 2000s were the best years in television. You can't watch much on tv these days.

God the acting sucks.
