California Camping @ Snug Harbor Resort in the Delta
The Sacramento California Delta is an endless network of rivers, tributaries, and water channels that offer an incredible boating experience. Originally used by miners and settlers during the 1848 Gold Rush, the Delta is still as beautiful and mysterious as ever. The waterways between San Francisco and Sacramento hold legends, fables and folklore that began with the birth of California.
Snug Harbor Marina & RV Resort is situated on Ryer Island; you get there by ferry or across the north island Miner's Slough Bridge. RVs and trailers over 30 feet in length must come in from the north bridge, ferry ride will not work (especially at low tilde). This is a peaceful place that gets exciting when you enter the water. No RV, no problem! They have "Snuggle Inns" that can accommodate small and large groups (available in studio, 1,2 or 4-bedroom units.). Come enjoy the water to play, fish or swim. Or . . . do nothing at all; you're going to love the peaceful, restful lifestyle.

And..for those "retired" full time RV'ers, .. Good Luck finding a location that will let you stay for longer that a few weeks. I gave up and went to the North Coast where I have stayed 2 years, in the Coastal Redwoods. (35 ft. Deluxe 5th wheel home)
