Go for Thiruvambady airport ! Kozhikode "TABLE TOP" airport with the short runway is very risky. The problem with Malayalees is they don't want wide roads instead very narrow curvy roads. Same attitude to airport runways. They want jumbo-jets to land in short runway. They think flying is just like driving auto-rickshaws. For safety reasons and to avoid too much braking it is ideal to have 4500 meters always. Most malayalees are very ignorant and selfish in this matter. They don't want to know about safety rules/regulations or theory of physics when speed, force, inertia, load factor, weight, tires, winds, rainwater, fog, vision, pilot error, etc. Somehow malayalee wants to get into the plane and fly. Every airport in Kerala should have at least 4000-meter runway in order to avoid risking people's lives and cause damages, closing the airport and diverting flights. These malayalees have gone to Gulf countries and seen those nice large airports so why then a problem to have long runways and reasonable size airports back in Kerala?
