So many lovely details, I love the sewing machine, furniture and all the pretty acessories! I'm happy that Epoch made such a beautiful and detailed set, it seems to me that this set was designed for Sylvanian collectors😊❤!

Yes! I thought it might be a reissue of the classic older one but it’s a whole new mold. And they did it so beautifully, it’s just as detailed as the old one, but feels a bit sturdier and easier to handle. And I love the color!

LOL I was amazed myself! I got lucky... it popped up on eBay at a phenomenal price (not much more than the Japanese retail, shipped!!) so I snagged it, And the shipper used Int's Priority, 3-day shipping from Japan to USA... so it was all just luck!

Tiny bolts of fabric and a moving sewing machine plus so many intricate parts.... Trying to tell myself I don't need this one cause it's $100+

I love it but definitely don’t think it’s worth $100+, it’s a shame they don’t put these ultra collectible ones out in the US for a fair price. I found it cheaper when it first came out, and splurged because I knew it wouldn’t be released here and would hold its value. But for sets I expect to come out in the US I hold off, tempting as they are! You could get one of the singer-style sewing machines from the Tomy or Flair era, there are many versions out there secondhand, maybe coupled with the Designer Studio- it would be half the price with the same vibe. ❤️❤️

Definitely looks like it’s more of an adult collectors set but still stunning! May I ask where you got this?

I agree! This was recently released at the official Sylvanian Families Japan store, and I found it on eBay for a bargain. Well, "bargain" is relative, it was $119 including shipping from Japan, but it seems to be going for $150-200 elsewhere. The retail price from the Japan store is equivalent to about $80 USD so I'm happy.

Sadly, EBay sellers are ruthless. Crazy prices now🥲🥲

Ugh I KNOW and I hate that. I got lucky, right when this came out I nabbed it from a brand new seller trying to build sales and feedback and got it for $80 I think. Still stupidly expensive for a tiny building but I knew it wouldn’t get any cheaper. And I just love it. Try to look right after a release, sometimes you’ll find it for a lower price, because as you know resellers get greedy. But also be patient on sets that are likely to be widely produced and come out in your country, rather than paying reseller prices right away. I waited on the Wisteria house and got it for $55 instead of $100 or whatever.
