I have a similar key cutting machine that I use and I have a same key that works on my shop door, however some keys haven't worked yet the customer has got it cut and working elsewhere, what would be the cause.

WHAT? having a hard time hearing.. other than that very helpful video. I have the ilco 040 Automatic and i am changing the carriage bushings. it will need adjusting afterwards.

how can I adjust the blade sided to side, not just the depth?

I should also mention that it is mounted in a mobile service van. Vibration from road could be some of the problem, but any other tips would be helpful.

RMSG if your blade gets worn down if would make it out of adjustment

I have this same machine, but it seems to go out of adjustment every 3-4 months. any tips? Thank you!

In the “Adjustments” section of the Ilco 045 Manual on the main Ilco US website (which is in the Discontinued Key Machines section of their Support Downloads area) it says, “There is no adjustment for spacing”

If you are going to show people what to do you should at least wear safety glasses, mate. Otherwise the video was good.
