Calibration of Materials in Abaqus FEA

Through this webinar, learn how ABAQUS’ material calibration tools can be used to record, analyze, and accurately simulate the behaviors of metals and elastomers.
Material scientists are constantly developing new forms of materials to fit the purpose of their applications towards certain industries. To achieve this, they require powerful simulation tools to calibrate advance material models, so that the response of the mathematical model used during simulation matches the material’s tested physical behavior.
In Abaqus, test data can be imported, edited, and a math model optimized to fit the data. Plotting and other outputs help the user to determine the goodness of fit. Afterwards, a core material can be created for use in the simulation.
