To complete all the "Avenues" in Downtown and Beltline, let’s explore the northern border of downtown Calgary!
Today, I kicked off from Chinese Cultural Centre, headed west on the 2nd Avenue all the way to Eau Claire Park, turned around toward the 1st Avenue, and combed through the various local streets where many condos are located. Had to detour because the road was blocked in preparation for the demolition of Eau Claire Market in the coming months or so. Then rejoined the 2nd Avenue and continued to the east end of 2nd Avenue, turned around along the Bow River to finish at Sien Lok Park.
Since 1st Avenue itself is too short to have a separate video, I have combined it with 2nd Avenue along with small streets in a video. Enjoy!
