Still trying to figure out how to use it online. My calfresh ebt card doesnt seem to show expiration date or cvc security number. How are you supposed to add the card as a payment option online?

Using your EBT card to make online purchases can vary from vendor to vendor. Please note, that not all stores accept online EBT purchases. Those that do may require you to set up an account profile. E.g. Walmart -- create an account or log in if you already have an account. Under Wallet | Payment methods, you will see the EBT option.
Is this for the card that gets distributed when you sign up your loved ones for CalFresh benefits?

Yes. As long as they are purchasing the items for you. You will need to provide your shopper with your EBT access code so make sure it's someone you trust. Additionally, every household member who you listed on your benefits applications form has the right to use your EBT card.

No, you cannot purchase gift cards using an EBT card.

You can not withdraw money from CalFresh EBT benefits. However, if you receive CalWORKs, an EBT cash assistance program, you can withdraw cash.
