Thanks for the explanation. Really helpful. Another simple way to calculate rise is by diving the ratio by 1. So 1:40 would give 1/40=.025 now multiply this number with any given run or length. for example 1:40 slope in 5.5 meter length would be 1/40=.025 x 5500 (Run)= 137.5mm (rise)

Some people have no value of knowledge and they say anything rubbish..... Aur rahi rs ki baat... Agar app is channel ke jariye kuch paise bhi kaamate ho to kuch galat nahi he... Because of u we r learning very good stuff... U work very hard to do such video.. Ur videos r very neat... Keep posting on such videos... And sir can u make one video on column jacking & reasons due to which concrete or rcc structure fails.... Thankyou..... ☺

@@humayounlal424 span length 1 meter, gradient is 1:200 1÷200=0.005 meter (1meter =1000mm) 0.005×1000=5mm means -1 meter equal to 5mm, so total span length is 5m ×5mm =25mm (simple way bro)

no one teach in site .it is my personal experience when I got job in BSBk pvt ltd Bhilai c.g .I was working as surveyor in road project but I did not know how to operate auto level as I was fresher .one day I asked my senior how to work on this machine ,he told me are u an engineer u do not know since on that day I had started flow him how he work on auto level .by observation I learned to operate n calculation . I have a request to my friend if you are fresher you can do training any near by construction work like building, dam, road etc . Do not run after money , first gain knowledge if u have knowledge u can get job easily.
