Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

There's is a lot of questions on the internet on how much PAG oil to be added to a car AC system when replacing components such as compressor, condenser, accumulator receiver drier, evaporator, expansion valve or even a leaky AC lines. This video is the 7th in the series of videos documenting "Our Journey To Fixing Car AC Issues By Replacing One Component At A Time". You can read more about the background information below. In this video, we will discuss how much PAG46 oil to add in each of the situation, including a bone dry system. Here are the #ᴬᴰlinks to tools, parts and accessories you may need to perform this repair:

How Much PAG Oil to Add to AC System
The compressor of the AC system is likely to have specifications regarding the amount of oil to be added. You must check the owner’s manual before adding more oil.
The AC system in most modern vehicles needs a total of 4 ounces (120 ml) of oil. So, checking the manual is a good idea to be sure of the exact amount and to avoid over- or under-filling the system. A low level of oil may cause compression failure, and overfilling will also hurt cooling performance,
Here is the amount of PAG oil that different AC components require for their smooth operation:
Compressor = 1.4 ounces
Evaporator = 1.5 ounces
Condenser = 1 ounces
Accumulator = 1 ounces
Hoses = 1 ounces

    Hi, I’m doing this whole service to an ‘05 Subaru Outback. Where’s the link on how to drain & refill the compressor? I have a newer compressor, but I filled it up through the suction side (haven’t run it yet). However, I’m not sure if that’s correct since other videos state to put the PAG oil through the high pressure port (smaller hole) of the compressor, then rotate the pulley to lubricate it. Did I make a mistake by introducing the oil through the suction side?? Also, I bought a brand new Condenser as well. Do you know if they already come prefilled with PAG oil and a new desiccant pack? Thanks in advance.

    No, unless the can says it contains oil, but those cans are only for adding oil, not regular recharging.

    Using a air compressor blow acetone first & then just air removing all the oil and leaving everything clean, new o-rings, evac., charge & enjoy ❄️🥶🧊
