Oh he can be easy to use for sure, but he also has like the biggest skill expression in the game. He's got a ton of weird combos, switch canceling and stuff like that. Learning how to play him optimally is rewarding as hell and boosts damage significantly.

Braodblade got a buff and goes even better with Clacharo's kit, so aside from the C.Dmg on Jiyan's weapon I wouldn't say Jiyan's blade is better. He can make use of the standard effect opposed to Jiyan's which only works with heavy attacks outside of the 12% resonance buff just for having it.

When I got that free voucher ticket, I immediately went for Calcharo and pulled the Lustrous Razor. Ever since then, I maxed him to Level 60 and his Lustrous Razor is also 60 with an ATK of 370 and ATK 26.9%

Yeah honestly, I'm already farming 5* echoes, just open up the like monster codex and look which ones are low rarity and try to up them and boom, you get to the point where you're restricted by Union level instead of Data bank lvl

You need to hit union level 20 (do the ascension quest) and also have data bank lvl 8. This is when you have a chance to get purple echoes. you can still get purple earlier if you beat elite monster (those glowy red monsters around the map).There are few easy ones like the chasm rider at Qichi Village, tho they hit like a fking truck. Those are guaranteed to drop purple, you'll need to get lucky with the main stat still but at least you'll have something to start with.

@@johnnyspellman4419 He is exactly like Xiao. A "Burst centric character which focuses on special mechanics" the only difference here is that Jiyan focuses more on his skill and Xiao focuses more on plunge. But they are essentially the same kind of DPS. Well Jiyan is flashier I'll give you that.

Now the thing is that jiyan weapon is not calcharo bis cause it boost heavy dmg and not liberation, when you read forte circuit the "heavy attack death messenger" dmg from it counts as Liberation dmg not heavy attack dmg same with mortefi on outro he buffs heavy atk not liberation

I got encore on my first jiyan banner ten pull and got her again on the beginner banner so i was pissed af but i got calcharo on the next beginner choice banner on the first ten pull.

Im using Calcharo Jianxin and Verina rn And the cycle goes like this Verina 1st dont max out the outro Jianxin 2nd don't max out the outro Back to Verina get her outro then switch to Jianxin get her outro then switch to Calcharo(to max it out try or make sure you've used an ultimate beforehand for more intro damage) then follow it up with his Liberation and brute force and dodge

Verina is the best choice because it is not likely to be another powerhouse support

I got him in beginners and in one pull in weapon banner, I got jian's Sig. Now farming his echo set and ascension mats and talent mats are annoying since there is less wave plates. Also have verina from selector pass today and will get encore or jianxin from selector banner.
