For anyone looking for weapons, the Hadal Urn post-cala clone is genuinely insane, even better then the serpentine that you called overpowered. Took down plantera in less than a minute with it, she didn't even get to do her dashes once. Also very good against leviathan, astrum aureus, and golem! :)

Hadal Urn is also super good in normal Calamity, can carry you through like 3-4 bosses without changing weapons.

@@TBKLumine as far as I remember infernum doesn't change weapon stats, so if it's good in infernum it will be good in calamity too

Best format and best guide for infernum. I am currently on pre-golem and I could have never have made it without this guide so thank you.

Eidoln staff is also a very good weapon for DoG, it drops from the eidoln worms in the abyss

Personally I use warding since calamity makes it give so much defense and DR. If you are good at dodging attacks then you should go for lucky/menacing for a damage boost.

I'd definitely say pre-golem to go Hadal Urn as another primary, it's damage is pretty good and it's easy to get

@@gangon5331 sorry I didn’t reply just yet, I don’t think it is a viable strategy to do dog before polter. But I would maybe suggest using stellar striker or if u are able to beat old duke before dog and polter and use his drops.

Check the colour coding in the top left of the video. Reds are recommended gear, yellow are support, etc.

I would say for early pre hard mode do lucky but once the base damage of Mage weapons start to rise (probs around slime god) then use menacing since Mage does tons of damage. If ur struggling with dodging then I would suggest sprinkling a few warding reforges in there. Hope this helps!

Make sure u are using flipper potions, can even use the fin wings. And I’m fairly certain there is a place able station like the corrupt effigy that grants buffs, I’ll have a deeper look at it later

Yeah at this stage I also feel slow but dodging is the main focus. If speed is a really bad issue then I suggest reforging to quick or switch out an accessory for a movement one as long as you can dodge since you are giving up defensive/offensive

@@thedrunkduck05 I just beat it lol , I was using the hollow armor and not the daedalus scince I beat skeletron before calamitas , the daedalus set including the wings gave a good mobility boost , I also crafted an ankh shield which I didn't have

@@snek5058 I guess shadow of calamitas is an infernum made boss which might make it unintentionally harder than the vanilla ones. E.g. Bereft Vassal was very hard for me and it is also an infernum made boss

the only problem with this guide is that it no joke is making this too ez like im beating every boss first try other than a few i only have 13 hours and have gotten up to brimstone elemental including beating skeletron q: so either this is a crazy guide or im just cracked although it feels kinda boring imo i want a crazy challenge which im hoping i have later atleast with dog and yharon and scal but the enemies just do so little damage to the point where it isnt really even that much fun.
