My main men Mojo and Uncle Ted! Thanks so much for doing this. This takes back when I was 7-8 years old, having a bowl of cereal before school, and this song was in constant rotation on the local country station. Because I was so young, I thought of it as "the pumpkin song", always visualizing a frost-covered pumpkin. Of course, as I grew older I came to know and appreciate the song's true meaning. Now that you mention it, the song does have a country-fried Simon and Garfunkel structure to it. Again, thanks for this reaction, such a classic! Now for my next joint. I mentioned in the comments on your reaction to Elvis Costello's "Watching the Detectives" that I got the idea for a detective related request. If you will indulge me my 6th. (Yes, sixth!) Rory Gallagher request, I'd like to request Rory's "Continental Op". It has a crime/detective theme, and somewhere on KZread is a homemade video with a graphic novel style to help.follow the story. Please and thank you in advance, thanks again for taking on this country classic, and I'm still groovy and eager for more!
