This is exactly how my parents act around my little sister. I wish I could talk back but I’m just too scared too because they threaten her that they will put her up for adoption once when all of us talked back. (We live in an Nigerian household but his is still not normal for African parents to do this)

First story: yeah they love him more because he is a boy, parents that base their love on gender and how young the child is, that’s mental abuse to the other siblings. I had so many amazing drawing that I was going to sell but my little stupid brother drew SHARPIE a on them while I was asleep! And their only excuse was “you can make them again! Quit crying! He is only six!” Age doesn’t matter to me anymore. Children should know that they shouldn’t do things by the age of six, he knew what he was doing and I have no bit of my time for him once I’m out of this stupid place
