Agreed. Parents listen up! You calling your child lazy, selfish, etc is not teaching them respect nor is beating them. Here is a better idea, treat them with respect. My god! This is why suicide rates are still going up. This girl almost starved herself because of sinful parents. This is so sinful that god would be ashamed. He probably would start cringing at this.

The first story was just extra emotional for me because my favorite thing right now is my stuffed animal, which is also a bunny. Im always terrified of someone ripping it, or taking me away from it or something like that. I still sleep with it and i feel really bad for the person in the first story.

I went to a Lutheran school and was bullied for 5 years and every time I told the teacher they just talked to the bullies one of them stopped and we became friends but in the middle of 5th grade I hit my limit and transferred schools my grades improved a lot and then my parents divorced. My dad brought home a woman saying that she was his girlfriend. A year later they got married she acts like my mom which I hate and when I stand up to them I get yelled at for being mouthy.

The first story of where the parents ripped the bunny head, I got scared for my plushie because it's also a bunny, School's starting and ever since I heard the first story, I got aware of my future and got a little more careful. Yes I do understand my family's pain but they don't understand mine. Of how they're so strict to someone that just wants their life to be the way they want it to be. Now, I'm afraid on answering back to them. But if I don't answer them, It might turn out how it happened in the story. They say random crap that isn't even the thing I'm talking about, When I talk about my type of topic I like to talk about, They call me crazy. And then when I get pissed at them, They always say "Have I always hurt you before?" Actually, You did. You've hurt me physically once but you've hurt me mentally multiple times that are countless to me. In every family fight I'm not even involved in, They involve me in. It's like I'm the sacrifice in my family. *Basically, That story traumatized me, you can consider this as a vent or just writing my future, I'm fine tho, I'm just being sensitive so I think everything's all good and clear 😀😀* Have a good day/Afternoon/Night!

I can kinda relate to the stories. I get yelled at a lot because my siblings like to test my patients and when I get angry I get yelled at and then they cry, I just stay silent and I don’t get my hopes up because it all will go down in flames.

The first story: that was the right, rather, safe choice! I’m sorry if this is harsh but I’ve herd countless Reddit stories where the couple give up everything for each other, including education and independence and it doesn’t work out, often leveling the dependent one miserable. I personally value KNOWING that you can survive and live rather comfortably no matter what happens. If you had left your foster parents to move in with the guy, then chances are, you’d be unemployed, the guy would earn minimum wage (since he too didn’t finish his schooling) and that may lead to you guys splitting. With you probably regretting leaving your kind foster parents.

This makes me hungry...I love cake 🤤
