My husband of 43 years recently died and he did all the cooking. He would fry about 16 turkeys every year for everybody. I now cook and was afraid to tackle that huge pot to cook a Turkey, but I think I can handle doing the wings on the stove after watching you. You Rock young man. Turkey wings and Turkey thighs are amazing. Great flavor and versatile.

Tip for regulating the oil temperature when frying: heat your oil to the desired temp on low to medium heat (best to use a thermometer). That way, when you add the cold meat to the oil and the temp drops, you can crank up the heat to get the oil back up to temp much faster.

Just melt a stick of butter and mix in some cajun seasoning. You can use whatever seasoning you want to make whatever flavor you want. You can also make fruit butters by bringing it to room temperature and adding blended fruit. Refrigerate or freeze that butter in portions to use on a bagel or muffin😋.
