    Thank you! It’s been several years no so I hardly remember. Interestingly, I had not intended for it to be a public video but rather for a student to watch in an unlisted link. I think I recorded it rather quickly on my phone… or one of those small cameras that were popular about ten years ago.

If you recommend a something you would like to learn I will see if there is already a video of that otherwise I will consider making one and posting it on the channel

    Looks like I've been neglecting my bass drum... I've been using it more like you would on drums,.but then I'm left with a very snare-y sound lol. My dad tells me the "sides" are toms but it just doesn't sound like it to me..

    I am starting on my left hand first, however I switch to the right hand as well. It doesn’t matter which one you start with as long as you can control what you are doing.

    Ah ok I see. Actually no I do not have one however the technique is the same. If you can play a cajon well you should be able to navigate well on the cajon tab. The basic fundamentals are the same. I do hope to get a cajon tab soon!

    Hello. Having the ability to switch hands gives you more versatility. If you can only play certain things with one hand you will ultimately be limited, especially if you are in a situation where you need to play a shaker or other instrument while playing the cajon. It’s not a necessity but it can help you to express yourself better on the instrument.

    Vaelei Logos that’s funny. Actually it is. The white balance of this video is incorrect. It was recorded with low light and an inexpensive camera so the colors are not accurate, but yea when I bought it it was green... and still is. Thanks for watching!

    Most likely because I just used the camera mic for this video. This particular video was actually for a private lesson that I later made public here on KZread several years ago.
