One neighbor claimed to be transgender: he would leave late at night-early in the morning to walk 2 miles to a porn shop. Everyone thinks that he is a woman, his name is unofficial, and he has a very long history of homosexual internet porn, beastiality, and pedophilia - so much so that he is denied an official name change for transgender people. He hides from the common public too! 😫

Steven Mctowelyey i understand chromosomes stay unchanged, but wouldn’t it be polite to address somebody with the gender that they are trying to live their life as? you understand that person have strong emotion about living and being addressed in that gender. if you try to live a strict life of addressing people by their chromosomes, you know it would be hard because you can’t test everybody you meet, and how would you address somebody who is xxxy or xyyy? i want to know what purpose does serve to address people by chromosomes? does it better humanity? or do you do it just so you can have the right to justify being hurtful , do you do it on the basis of your religious opinion to bully transpeople?

Steven Mctowelyey a delusion? dysphoria is medically shown. if you woke up the day with a different body, you would be feel weird. thats dysphoria and Caitlyn live with that feeling for a long time and until recent she decided to be truth and authentic about it. reminds me of the story of a woman who got breast implant because she felt some kinda society pressure to have big breast, later she though about it and how it wasnt feeling like who she was, and so she remove them because she felt that would be her truth and her being authentic to who she is felt inside, feel at home in her body

I just don’t get it they got married three different times and had kids from all of them. And then at 65 years old he’s like ok I’m gonna be a full time woman now ? ?? And iv suffered from this since I was 10 blah blah. Such a bizarre situation.

Actually it's more common than you think! A lot of people just put it off and don't show their true selves until they're much older. There's no age limit to coming out lol Also please note that it's pretty hard to come out especially when you're in the spotlight and you have all these extra people to judge you. She didn't wake up one morning and say "Hey! I'm gonna be a woman!" it took years of figuring herself out :)

Genuine question and I'd love to hear from members of the trans community or anyone in general who has this experience or is living with it etc. When a man says "I feel like a woman", or a woman says, "I feel like a man", or words to that effect, what does that even mean? If one is born one gender and lives life as said gender, how could they possibly know what it feels like or means to be the opposite gender? Does that make sense? I'd like to understand.

I'm not trans but I think I can explain it decently. When people say they feel they're a certain gender or that they identify as it, it means that when they think of who they are, they think of themself as said gender. It also means that certain pronouns will feel wrong and some will feel right. Those same feelings apply to clothes, body, voice... etc. It's hard to explain that general feeling of wrongness but I hope you'll understand what I'm saying. People who aren't trans don't realise that they too would feel these feelings if they were in a body of a different sex. The reason you don't notice it is because, without that difference between who you are and how you're viewed, feeling as your gender won't be something you need to pay attention to. That contrast is what makes someone trans. It's not easy for everyone to fully understand, and that's fine. Nevertheless, I hope my explanation helps. I'm not an expert so please listen to trans people over me.

people are born as a sex. gender is what you identify as. when someone feels like another gender, they tend to experience gender dysphoria which consists of feeling uncomfortable with their body (eg: people assigned female at birth my feel discomfort with their chest and bind their chest to make it look flatter) and social dysphoria which is discomfort with people using the wrong pronouns or wrong name. if this isn't treated with therapy and transitioning (whether that's just hormone therapy or a sugary or maybe just socially transitioning- everyone has different needs) it can lead to low self esteem and mental illness

I grew up in a family packed with females and absent males. I grew up playing with my older girl cousins and had a toy cooker and taken to pick a toy, chose a toy iron. In the 60s and 70s if a boy preferred painting to sports he was deemed a bit effete. As a child the constant refrain was "ah! Look at his curly hair! He should have been a girl" and have constantly been what is today called 'misgendered' all my life, even now. I always knew what and who I am - despite my challenging traditional gender roles. At 17 a psychiatrist suggested a sex change. Later on another said "you'll have to learn how to walk in high heels". Societally-enforced conformity

You have to love people who think 'their story' is so important, that they have to share it with everybody. Right now, this very moment, so many in this world are suffering unbelievable pain, anguish, famine, hopelessness, depression, all sorts of deprivation, injustice, and one could go on, and on, and on. Certainly, I am not advocating that we should all throw ourselves from the tallest building due to the suffering around us, and the world at large but, we can't really take ourselves seriously when someone like this guy comes along, and we give him our attention, pity, sympathy, or whatever other feelings we may have towards him. He is so full of himself, so conceited, so arrogant. And there are those here that come along, and compliment him, pay him homage, etc... Seriously, if you are one of these people, you really, really have to examine your conscience. I won't even bother watching it till the end. I don't personally understand the whole trans issue but Bruce/Caitlyn explains themself well and the interviewer is excellent. She listens well and doesnt interrupt her guest. I think their gender issues messed up their marriages and they should have sorted this out before bringing kids into the confusion but s/he seems like a nice person.

The main thing you realize when you read the comment sections to videos like this is that a) human beings are very judgmental, b) human beings fear and dislike everything/everyone that they don't understand or that makes them uncomfortable, and c) human beings do not like when something happens that challenges their view of the world and how things 'should' be. This applies to 98% of the people commenting on here. From a sociological/psychological perspective it's really interesting -- but it's also kinda sad.

Iru Verchere, I agree. You only need to look at the amount of vitriol, bigotry and ignorance shown in the comments to see how many sick people there are out there. You'd think that with the internet at most people's fingertips, they'd be able to educate themselves on this birth condition, and the extent of the suffering that trans people go through, which is the driver for transition. In the age of information, ignorance is a choice.

SHE has every right. It was he who faked his way thro life because of what WE all thought he should be and still think. He surpressed his feeling long enough. He has every right to finally become the person SHE truly is. We need to stop and think how hard this must have been for him all his life and how hard it must have been for him to finally say enough...that is not who I am...to come clean. Not only did he have to come clean with the family but to the world who wants Bruce to live on...not for Bruce but for us.

Nobody was holding him back nor telling him how to live his life what he did its on him. Doesn't that make you a little sick? When you think of children with horrific diseases that the families don't have money to get them the help they need... the children for instance, in St Jude Children's Hospital...that have real life or death issues...and then this...person...gets all this fame and attention because HE doesn't feel comfortable in his 'man underwear' anymore!
