My mom actually named my younger sister after Caitlin. Only she wanted to spell it differently so it's Kaitlyn.

Claude was terrified of what would happen if his Family found out. A similar thing happened 10 Years ago on The UK Soap Opera Eastenders. Ben Mitchell was caught kissing a fellow and his Father didn't know he was Gay and Ben was terrified of him. When he was caught out by Patrick Trueman he was scared Patrick would tell on him, a confrontation took place but instead of Ben telling the truth, he allowed it to go way out of proportion. He allowed an innocent man to take the rap because he was ashamed of his sexuality at the time.

Claude was fine

it reminds me my childhood when I watched this series in 1990-1991 in israel.

Claude was selfish, not only for leaving her at the factory but for trying to make her and everyone else feel guilty when he took his life. I understand depression is a disease but Claude purposely went to Caitlin and tried to make her feel guilty and bad after he took his life

Claude is such a "Punk". He talks the talk but doesn't walk the walk. He's scared of what would happen to him if his Parents found out what he did. Maybe getting kicked to the curb would have taught him a lesson.

That's Maya, she has spina bifida. She walks in real life which proves what a great actress she is. I think she has the same disease in real life but not as bad as her character. Yick thinks she is hot besides the whole wheelchair thing. She also smokes pot in 1 episode. She mostly hangs around Catlyn but also the "Have Nots" for an episode or two.

If she had just slapped him without provocation i'd agree with you. The real abuse in this scene was claude grabbing Caitlyn's arm to stop her from walking away. All she did was pull her arm back and he got hit

@chexer1231, 2 F@#ing bad, look at him, look at her. At most, she is a sophmore and he is likely a senior! Even then, a big difference in age, and he 'walked' on her! Caitlin deserved so much more from a douche bag that professed to be so much more! I, in my late late teens when this aired, was shocked, but now I know that she had to walk from him. He let her down at her biggest moment, not her, letting him down. Stacey was, and is still 'hot' to me, even after all of these years!!! Luv ya!!!

One of the best Degrassi momments. I never liked Claude. He was all talk and no action.

Why didn't catilyn just tell the police he was there too. She could of told them Claude tanner was there too, it was his idea, gave his personal information to them etc then more then likley he could of gotten into trouble too. Claude wasn't turn himself in he was to scared. She should of punched him instead of a slap but he deserved to get hit anyway.

I know I’m super late but Claude wanted to spray paint the a factory to protest and he basically dragged caitlyn into it , the police shows up and Claude and caitlyn tried to escape but Claude ends up getting away and caitlyn ends up getting stuck on Some barbed wire and the police catches her so caitlyn has to take the blame even though it was Claudes Idea

He manipulated Caitlin into commiting vanadalism at a missile factory and left her to be arrested when he was about to get caught and he also stole her from Joey and because he willingly tried to get her and everyone else to feel guilty before he commuted suicide.
