Those calling Clark's game winner traveling are completely ignoring the travel by the Indiana player the play before. That travel was just prior to the foul that put her to the line to make the free throws to give Indiana the lead. Oh that and they are wrong about Clark's.

I really didn't care who won the game but one does not have anything to do with the other it just means the Refs let 2 travels go and yes Clark traveled but does not matter unless it is called but what a shot under pressure to win it.

There were two fouls called on Iowa in the last two minutes that were NOT fouls at all. The last foul called with 1.5 seconds left the Indiana post player just jumped into the Iowa post defender. It was total BS imo. Not only was it not a foul, but you don't and can't even call marginal fouls at that point in the game.

TOO BAD IT WAS A TRAVEL AND SHOULD NOT HAVE COUNTED, catches the ball in the air, right foot plants and becomes the pivot foot, step with the left, then replants the pivot foot before taking the shot, NO BASKET< IOWA LOSES. NBA rule book states two steps. The WBB rule book does not say two steps, a travel occurs when replacing the pivot foot. anyway she took 3 steps.

I just seen that and did slow motion and no doubt she did travel but great shot under pressure but dang Basketball rules on traveling seem to be gone.

Very great shooter but it is a shame she will never win the championship, why no help on that team for her. she has to carry them by her self and no matter how many points she has it seems it is not enough. Last second three pointer to win, ok.

One of the other players for Iowa is shooting 78 percent from 3, in the last 9 games . And people like you say Iowa doesn't have any other players. You are crazy. They have 5 players who can shoot 3. People are under estimating the rest of the team. That's a mistake.

Clark travelled on that last shot. You get 1.5 steps, not 2.5....unless they've changed the rule.

She caught the ball while her foot was in contact with the ground, took 2 steps and took the shot. That's text book basketball. Clean and legal. There's no "step" happening when she catches the ball.

@@tektraxm You have to continue your motion not stop and take a jump shot. Can't take 2 steps on a layup and on the 2nd step just stop put both feet on the ground and shoot. Refs missed it or let it go does not matter shot good game over.

Last I checked, 3 steps without dribbling is a violation called travelling, yeah? Game winner:. Catch ball with right foot hitting the ground, then a left and a right again. Hmmm

You’re correct. It’s a travel but calling it is iffy due to the NBA allowing a gather step. Catching the ball mid air does not negate the fact that you can only take two steps before lifting off. She took 3 steps but the ref considered it a gather step.

You're allowed a gather step when catching the ball. This is extremely common when shooters come off a screen. Or have you never watched basketball before?

People compare Paige and Caitlin. They are both great players. The difference between them is Paige admires and supports other great players. She gives props wherever they are due and understands that she’s part of a larger community. Caitlin has a different attitude towards others. No need to kick the ball just because your competitor made a great shot.
