From a fan perspective, the process of leaving her off the Olympic team was intentional and biased against Clark simply because she is exceptional on and off the court. The WNBA and FIBA cannot stand who she is, because she is everything they are not. Jealousy, racism, sexism all those insidious negative emotions were entirely on display with this decision. You can tell by the coaches tweets before anyone was selected. Idiocy, pure and simple.

I notice Amazon prime has a movie called Power of the Dream….about WNBA players changing the course of politics. It’s a 2024 movie. It’s funny, before a month or so ago….I only knew one WNBA player….for being in jail in Russia….thats it. Bill Burr was correct…..couldn’t name one team, player, could care less, etc. It seems like the WNBA only wants black lgbt fans…..do they understand that’s a very small group of people? They should be thanking CC for getting so many eyeballs…..because as you’re watching, you learn other players, teams, etc. Who knows if this will continue next year. The drama and agenda is a turnoff. Sports should be an escape, and for all fans…..not just the ones you deem on your political side.

The single reason is that Caitlin Clark is a class act. She represents everything that athletes should be. A hard worker, doesn’t complain, consummate professional and supports her team. When face with a challenge, she confronts it. Not in a whiny I’m the victim attitude. For me she is the most exciting athlete to watch. The WNBA is blowing it. Hopefully sooner than later, they’ll figure it out. And if the league doesn’t figure it out, you know Indiana is going to. What’s going to be on my Christmas list? Womens basketball is a gimme gold event for the U.S. in the Olympics. No other country comes anywhere near the U.S. Its been more than 30 years since their last loss. This was an opportunity for womens basketball to get everything they said they wanted. More exposure, more money, more viewers during the Olympics, and more of just about everything the players say they want. There would be no chance of a loss anywhere along the way. And they gave it all up out of petty jealousy. What they did was like leaving Michael Jordan off the Dream Team.

B.S.! Coach Sides disclosed a PERSONAL text from CC! Sides & the team have undermined CCs abilities all season.. Shes a star, despite jealousy from WNBA. Get your facts straight! Shes not an underdog but generational genius in the sport that doesn't deserve her.

They will not have near as many viewers or people watching the game in the stands. Caitlin Clark is the epitome of class act. The WNBA does not deserve a player and a human being like this

I have been a basketball fan for over 65 years. Omitting Caitlin Clark from the 2024 Olympic Team is an embarrassment for those making the selections. If tenure in the WNBA is the overriding criterion for selection, then apparently, talent and winning aren't that important. She is undoubtedly the most exciting and talented player to come along in women's basketball... and also a 'class act'. Jealousy and reverse discrimination? Sure looks bad on both counts. Keep taking the high road, Caitlin.

It’s clear the idiots at the top our trying to get the names of the other players on the minds of the new fans. What they haven’t figured out is the new fans are Caitlins and the other players need to play Caitlin and EARN new fans who never cared before and won’t care after they way they are going about it. Did I hear 8 golds in a row how many new fans did that get them. It’s time to get a clue.
