Cairns Masters DH Worlds practice run 1 - sloppy and sketchy and so perfect!!!
No one is enjoying this more than I am. The next two runs got faster and smoother. Tomorrow we find real speed.
Жүктеу.....

Love the video man - it is great to see what the whole course looks like (volunteering from the sidelines you don't get to see much more than your own section). Welcome to the Wet Tropics, hope you have an awesome weekend of riding here in Cairns and enjoy the local area. Hopefully see you around over the next few days!

Thank you brother. We had a medical emergency last night. Currently at the hospital prepared to miss practice to care for my Love. I appreciate what you said .. yeah man I’ve done what I set out to do. I’m super cool with an unpracticed JoyRace(tm) on Saturday. That said, I did ask to do the practice later today … and I’m on the hunt!!! 💪🏼🤘🏼💥

Hey Lee, that course looks wild. Glad you're out there rippin' it and having fun! The trail self-talk is interesting, I recently tried talking my way through a favorite descent this way and felt like it helped me turn missed moves into more opportunities farther down. Good luck!

Bring a Sharpie! Yes it’s more dry today Only the Alien Tree section is really slippery now The track is setting up and getting faster Today I chased a fast dude on the DH bike through the rough fast roots Whoa! My nervous system wasn’t ready for that!! I’ll make up time elsewhere

@@lee_likes_bikes I remember watching the US riders trying to tackle the EWS at Innerleithen in Scotland and they were very uncomfortable on the slick roots and mud that is normal up there, there's a reason why people like Danny Hart wins very wet World Cup Downhills, he's from the North East of the UK and all you ride is wet roots and mud....dry trails are rare!!! Fantastic job after the shoulder rebuilds!
