Caillou exacts revenge on Santa Claus after getting coal last Christmas.
Merry Christmas! As you can expect, this is obviously the Caillou Gets Grounded 2022 Christmas Special. I worked on this from December 20th to December 22nd, and boy did it come out mildly decent.
There are of course a few obvious plot holes. For example, Caillou somehow knowing that she'll find Santa's corpse despite it being in the neighbors' trash can. Additionally, it was never revealed that Caillou placed the body in the neighbors' trash can until the scene with Boris and Rosie outside, so that's why I feel as though this video is probably more rushed than some of the others.
Honestly, the flashback (begins at 0:19 and ends at 3:28) really just feels like something I added in there just to pad out the runtime of the video, although it ended up taking less of the video than I thought it would, but it was still over 33% of the total runtime, which is excessive. I also wanted to find a way to work Doris into the video, but I really have just never found a way to use her as a plot device in any of the videos so far. She's kind of just there to remind you that Boris is still married in this universe. One day I'll probably make a video where Doris has an important plot-oriented role instead of Boris just for a change of pace, but that probably won't be for a while.
If you are wondering who Boris The Teeth Guy is, he is apparently Boris when he is at his angriest (and most powerful). His skin turns red and his mouth becomes incredibly large, emphasizing his gritted teeth (Forgot to mention that this was obviously first made in Go!Animate, not Plotagon). Unfortunately, I cannot recreate this in Plotagon so until I can make his mouth enourmous, Boris with red skin is the closest thing to him that you'll get from me.
One more thing. When Santa said that Caillou killed him, that was a mistake by me. Caillou TRIED to kill Santa, but was unsuccessful. Yet another plot hole that went unfilled.
Overall, this video is pretty mediocre in my opinion, and that's because I really just wanted to get some sort of Christmas-themed video out there since I don't always have the time (or the motivation) to get new videos out. Expect better from me soon.
