One of the things I really love about Matt Shultz is that he really doesn't give one single fuck if his voice cracks, or he's pitchy, or misses a note, etc. He just sings and has fun and dances everywhere and I think that's very cash money of him.

I seriously love live sessions.. They're so much better than the studio versions!! You can listen to their voices, you hear the rawness and emotion in their voice. So lovely it gives me the chills!

Yeah, most songs lose some fullness of sound or are just off without the base, but this one completely falls apart. Plus it's an acoustic bass which is cool and not very common

So much more respect for this because even though it's not perfect, it's not bathed in melodine/autotune like literally every other artist of their popularity, I can feel the artistry in this. 👌

I got to know this version first and I prefer it to the studio version. The original bassline is good but there's nothing crazy about it. Studio version sounds too soft after hearing this acoustic one

Listening to this version hurts but at the same time feels right because it was playing when I kissed my ex for the first time
