Cafe Racer (Suzuki Bandit by K-Speed, and Tonys Bike Design)

(Subtitles available in 30 languages)
The Suzuki Bandit is one of those motorcycles, that conquered a fans league.
Therefore, this video can only be one of the most wanted, among this channel's followers.
And because of that, I decided to present 2 Cafe Racers on this episode.
This first one, is a Suzuki GSF 600 Bandit from the 90's, and it was designed by Tanadit Sarawek, the owner of "K speed", in Thailand
And the second project, is based on a rare Suzuki GSF 750 Bandit, built by "Tonys Bike Design", also from Thailand.
I hope you like it.
My special thanks to Pedro Torres, for his great help with my English.

For once I’ll have to disagree with you. I feel the raised tank on the “K Speed” bikes ruin the overall lines of the bike as it just looks to disconnected. Your rendering of the tank flush to the frame, and tilting the fairing to match, made for a much more pleasing and “organic” look. But that’s what makes customs what they are, an expression of the individual builder 😉👍!

I read the title & thought "He's finally lost it" I fukn Hate Bandits, but they turned out OK & the 750 sounded pretty good, even the fairing was good, I build a few with fairings but I have an "OG Rickman" mold from the 60s & I have modded some of those, they keep the "OG" vibe but with a modern twist, although fibreglass makes me itch, so I charge a figure that puts most off, as for the tank, it's not something I would have come up with, but I get the feeling it will grow on some of the haters. Excellent as always, thank you.

Although Tony Bike Design is an atelier that I admire, I don't know, there is something in this project that I don't quite like, however I recognize the great talent to extract a powerful bike from what is nothing but an ugly duckling on steroids. Indeed, the rear part seems to have been made by a committee in charge of making the ugly uglier. But the frame is something to pay attention to even if I don't quite like the original tank. That is why Tanadit Sarawek's modifications using a bikini fairing in the first project are spectacular. A great revival of a bike that doesn't always attract fanatical attention. A big round of applause for those two "maestros" of design and modification,

Unfortunately, things are more complicated than most people may think. I use this "robotic" voice created by software, because I'm Portuguese, and my bad English accent (and voice), can ruin the documentary character that I like for my videos. I already tried a real British voice in one of my videos, and, surprisingly, almost everyone hated it. Curiously, the robotic voice sounds realy very good for to non-English natives. :) Cheers.

Geometry is jacked up on the back and down on the front. The Mk1 has really close to sport bike geometry and it falls into and out of turns like butter. How does that pile ride? FUNCTION over form. If it rides like shit who cares what it looks like?

@@RACER_TV Hello again, many thanks for your reply. I'd guess that many of your viewers will actually enjoy the distinctive robotic quality of the voice-over - whether they speak English as a first language or not - it too has a retro vibe. Nor is it a deal-breaker for me either, I've been watching your bike videos for quite a while now & will continue to do so 👍- and who knows, maybe I'll even learn to love that retro-bot's synthesised quizzical inflections..?

Thank you my friend for your support. I already tried to find a better "robotic voice", and there are some excellent and almost perfect voices. The main problem, is the repetitive entuacion and atmosphere of the speech. None of those new voices, have the documentary style of the voice I use. But I really believe that this voice will be improved in a very near future. :) Cheers.

@@RACER_TV Hello meu amigo (..Please forgive me if that translation is wrong..) Thank you for your recent message. I have given much thought to our earlier conversation - and with mature reflection on my part regarding Mr Robot's voice, I think your best option by far is to take absolutely no notice of my opinion whatsoever.. You have developed & nurtured a very successful youtube channel with many fans & subscribers up until now - and all of this you have done without me chipping in my tuppence worth. Hi there I can appreciate the hard work that you have put into this build sir I really can and I expect there will be many others who like the look of the finished bike. I was probably a bit harsh in the critique so please except my apologies for that. There is a lot of nice things on it that I really do like such as the bikini fairing, lighting and the black fork legs and exhaust system. If that tank and frame rail were closer then I would be a big fan. Keep up the great work.....
