Making parts for your bike is the greatest thing ever. I don't have a lathe but I do have a mill and I just spent the last two days making stuff for my bike.
You are a wizard. The last set black & silver caught the eye : )

Thank you mate, That was the easiest set to make, My friend Braden, (the guy I mentioned in this video) said I could use some rubber washer between the other ones to help with vibration so I thought that was a great idea too.

@@CafeRacerGarage great idea with the rubber inserts..... he's a clever cookie :-) would be good to also throw some knurling on the larger washes to give that little bit extra grip, the look of them is really good, definitely an eye catcher!!

@@andypandy. I think I would need to somehow stop them from spinning if I was to knurl them but It could be done
Great work, as usual!
Love the style of this bike, looks awesome! Great vid mate
That chain combo looks great on "my" dream bike! Greetings from Croatia!

Thank you mate
As a general rule of thumb you want to grab the cutting tool almost as short as possible in the tool holder. You have some real nice skills.
Really enjoy your lathe projects, keep up the Great videos!

Great timing again Dan .. glad your getting in some practice on the lathe , not bad choices on designs from a sort of normal knurled to the washered and the chain links , that ones different . All good on the bike . Have a great week mate

@@CafeRacerGarage cheers Dan and yup in time for brekkie ..
That was it? A few shots of the things right in the end of the video?
Another great one Dan. The last set look the best from where I'm sitting. Only thing is the hanger looks odd with all of them, maybe if the hanger was a bit chunky/beefy that might make a difference. Are you going to dress the gear shifter and brake lever too? Good news is that you've time to build something before the photo shoot, lol

Thank you mate yes I could keep working on this bike for a long time but I need to give the other bikes some time as well. A tank strap/Rack is something I had planned for this bike as well at some point

@@CafeRacerGarage That's the thing with these projects, they continue to evolve and there is always something else you could do. I can't begin to imagine what stress/pressure I would feel with multiple projects on the go, let alone the pressure to record everything and get regular videos out, oh and finding time to work, eat, sleep and have a beer with your mates. You're doing an awesome job mate, take my hat off to ya. I think this one would look great with a rack - no pressure lol.
What a great job, looks verry nice. But what is the name of the tool. Where you make the grip part on the step( the first that you build) greats from the netherlands

It’s called a knurling tool made to work on a metal lathe
I am rebuilding my 1993 Cb750, and I can’t seem to figure out what filters to put on my carbs do you have any suggestions, also I can’t find a good rebuild kit I’ve bout one but does not contain everything I need, do you know of any?
guessing it right from the sneak peak!🙋🏾♂️😅

You got it in one brother :)
Interesting idea with the chain link , i think the first two looked too shiny to match the bike , maybe if they were blued or anodised they could match a little better . Just my 2 cents worth. Cheers 4 sharing sir.

Feet forward on a cafe racer?
Please check regulations in the country you live... In the US our foot pegs must fold... Good work !

I did test this just before by rounding the bottom on one side of the peg and it worked well. I agree that solid pegs that don't fold are not fun.
