If you are undecided between having a custom Cafe Racer, or a Custom Scrambler, this video is perfect for you.
Because it presents a project, that solves the 1 seater limitation.
Imagine if you could have 2 custom Bikes, but using one single motorcycle.
This is what the beautiful BMW R80 presented on this video is all about.
It was built by Vlado Dinga, and Ales Tomis, founders of "Earth Motorcycles", from Slovakia.
I am sure you will like it.
My special thanks to Pedro Torres, for his great help with my english.

Beautiful BMW conversion, one of the best if not the best looking BMW Cafe racer I have ever seen. It only has one flaw, it´s not mine.

Indeed. Thank you. I'm glad you liked so much my friend. :) Cheers.
Your comment regarding "harmony" is absolutely correct. The balance of the black tones and silver metal are perfect - almost a golden ratio. I love the way this Bmw can also be a 2 seater, both combinations are really pleasing. This is a really inspirational build. Thanks guys.

Sweet bikes, but amazes me folks choose tyres for aesthetic reasons rather than grip!! Very nice, but put proper rubber on if you want to make the most of the handling. Had 30+ years with clip ons & rearsets, so now my body prefers the scrambler Cheers 👍🏻👍🏻

Thank you my friend for sharing your perspective. I understand there are better tires on the market. But these Shinko tires, are not as bad as some people think, because the rubber grip of these tires, is usually good. :) Cheers.
Absolutely fantastic bike. thanks to you for bringing all these projects to us.

Nice BMW conversion! The tank stripe is so subtle and fits this bike perfectly as it extends into the seat line…. Had you not mentioned it, I world not have seen it! Very beautiful bike. As always, thank you for Racer TV, the Café racers only choice! Hope all is well with you my dear friend! Take care and ride safe! Cheers:)

@@RACER_TV Could you do a video on what constitutes a scrambler as the lines seem to have blurred with a lot of the new bikes calling themselves "scrambler" . In the old days scramblers had exhausts that were up by the seat covered by shields. The idea being you needed ground clearance to ride the rougher roads. Bikes like the 70's CL350 were scramblers... Maybe this could be a video idea... By the way Snow Machines are motorcycles on the snow so we Canadians can still ride. If you lived in southern Ontario, Canada you could ride almost year round but we are 9 hours north so we have "Sleds".....
Superb
um dos melhores do ano até agora

It will always be a temptation to do two projects with the same motorcycle model. Especially when the result ends up being a cafe racer and a scrambler. These are the two design trends that make many enthusiasts' hearts pump faster. Me included. The BMW RT 80 is at least somewhat bulky. Somewhat ugly. However bikes built in the 80's don't have all that electronic crap that increases complexity and associated costs over time. In addition to the external plastic decoration they are pure metal. And German metal. That is something to take into account. I liked the motorcycles and I think it is the anticipation of a trend that should serve as a guide for other projects in other brands.

Sim, as imagens estão espetaculares. Claro! A moto também está impecável e a idéia de ter uma moto com aparencia e utilidades multiplas, mesmo que somente estética, é um sonho da maioria dos customizadores e esse é um exemplo muito eficaz para provar um conceito! Parabéns!

Yes, I understand. Like I said on the video, this Cafe Racer approach is quite ordinary. But still has some unique features We wont find on any other BMW from the R Series. Thank you my friend for sharing your perspective. :) Cheers.

Unfortunately a repetitive production from builders I did the same, still owning my RT cafe. Desirability and admiration for such bikes is dwindling fast.

I do not want to think if you catch a good puddle after a rain ..nice bike but skeletal the moto boxer aesthetically always seemed to me an eyesore but it will have its fans ..like everything in life ,, despite all good project

Nah, it is the ergonomics. Cafe Racer might be nice for drag racing and the looks, but for "riding" the scrambler will be more enjoyable when you do some distance with it.

Extremely beautiful machines with exquisite hardware and fittings. If you look me up you will remember my own BMW cafe that went viral on KZread many years ago. My flaw in my design was due to me being a beginner builder and I too lowered my front travel of the forks to make it look sexy. What a huge mistake. I spent years redesigning my suspension both front and rear so that my cafe racer had even more travel than a stock R90S had. That was the key to building a good looking BMW cafe racer that was also a completely road worthy bike for long distance riding on any type of road surface.
Where do you put your passengers feet if you go for a 2 seater? I dont see footrests on most cafe racers.

Building a similar project at the moment. Anybody knows the weight of this bike ? Around 170kg’s without fuel?
@RACER_TV
7 ай бұрын
Probably arround 183 kg . I only know that the (wet) weight is about 210 kg
Looks a lot like a Walzwerk Schizzo.
每个细节都很有品质 但是还是显得不那么优雅,也许这就是德国人眼中的cafe race 说白了 有点笨笨的感觉 !
The 2 choice are scrambler or cafe. Must be European.
Diese Maschine gehört in eure Sendung. kzread.info/dash/bejne/Zp51z9Fwka7aj7Q.html
Getting quite a repetition, warmed up soup … with over exaggerated comments. Running out of inspiration I see.

Well, I recognize the approach with the cafe racer Seat, is quite ordinary. But the fact of this project being able to change of style in a matter of minutes, that is completely new. :) Cheers.
Actually, I don't like it at all. But anyway, continue the channel with the robotic voice !
Awful commentary so I'll give it a miss.
@RACER_TV

Unfortunately, things are more complicated than most people may think. I use this "robotic" voice created by software, because I'm Portuguese, and my bad English accent (and voice), can ruin the documentary character that I like for my videos. I already tried a real British voice in one of my videos, and, surprisingly, almost everyone hated it. Curiously, the robotic voice sounds really very real and professional for most non-English Speakers.:) Cheers.
This is so stupid!!
😁😁😍
Lose the 40 dollar eBay fairing and make one ..those things are literally on every cafe racer across the world
