This is the exact path I am taking to become a medical officer. I start my BA soon to become a Health Services Management officer.

@@heavenoo4999 I am still in high school myself, but I have been looking into the career for a few years now. As a Sea Cadet, I also get first-hand opinions from my Officers. If he wants to go the Military route, it would be best for him to get his medical education from the Military. The school (Canada) that I have been looking into is The Royal Military College of Canada. Honestly, I think the first hardest step will be getting into the school, since they have between a 10%-20% acceptance rate, and there are requirements. You will have to take a test in your first year that determines if you have to take French or not. To work in the Military you have to know basic French. I have received the opinion from my core Officer about another school that might be a better option for me, but I haven't had the chance to look into it yet. If you would like to know anything else, please let me know, I could go on for days!

@@nyxanyk8972 Hi! I'm also an high school student and an Air cadet and I just wanted to know if YOU think its worth it. I'm doing some research about the MOTP and the benefits are literally SO AMAZING but i'm still not sure whether its worth having that chance of being deployed (as an air cadets thats not rlly my jam fkdshfudj) i also have a few questions if u can POSSIBLY answer- 1. Can you live a "normal" medical student life while doing this program? 2. can you pick what school you want to study in? yeah thats it ALSO ITS OK IF U CANT ANSWER thx:)

@@anishap6054 I gotchu. So, I've looked into this a lot, and yes, you can live a 'normal' medical student life while participating in this program. You get all the benefits, as well you will also earn a salary to complete the course. I'm also not sure about you second question but I believe you have to study in a Military school. Not 100% sure for that one though. And, once you've completed your terms of service that are required after your schooling, you can choose to stay in the Military or leave, and whichever decision you make you will get to keep whatever degree you have earned and still remain as qualified in the civilian world as you would have been in the Military. I think it's 100% worth it, especially considering chances of deployment aren't really that high. :)

What makes you want to join? Which part dont you feel like you could handle? Part of the recruiting process is to find out who really wants to join. If you have that part down... why quit? The physical aspect and everything else can be trained. You tuely can do it... if you want. No handouts here, push yourself.

The CAF just did an open to the public force fitness test in my area! Good way to push yourself and get a chance to meet (jubilant) people in uniform
