You have to trim the bottom of the cup holders. That's it.

This one is shorter than others I have seen. Is this a different model ? Is it hard to install ? How many hours would it take a pro shop to install ?

This is the notmal CAE. There are no short versions. I think it is the boot that fools the eye.

About install. Not hard but takes a while. For a shop that has done it before. Maybe 4 hrs. But I'm just guessing. I did it over a weekend myself. Didn't count the hours.

@@apexdreams_sweden if you look at other videos showing the shifter on different cars, they are all showing the base of the shifter so it looks really weird. Maybe it has to do with the placement of the gearbox?

​@@kzz8971 I think its just in the M2 the "center console" and the boot cover most of the CAE. Looks shorter than it is.
