Change the oil

I tried each way and it still won't reset

You need to press that button down hard and for about 10-15 seconds.

its amazing to me that actual techs in their moment of despair and embarrassment dont think to give a quick reference check to youtube to make themselves look competent so as to earn their customers trust...smh

@@OilLightReset not i.... not yet.... i just got a 2015 srx lux with 40,000 miles and its practically brand new inside and out in bothe the cab and the engine and rides so smooth its easily as smooth as my old crown vic. like a ride down the road while sitting in your living room... i was just reading the replies and wondering how is it that people who cant or have no knowledge of how to work on a car, go on youtube and can find a video showing you how to fix something that every tech should also have the common sense to look up on youtube as well... i have found out all kinds of tricks and things i dont know about cars on youtube and i definitely appreciate the knowledge.

@@OilLightReset - so its basically 6 months later and the engine light just came on the oil life is at 52% i checked my oil yesterday and it was about the same on the dip stick and the remote wont start from either of the 3 key fobs that came with it.. it still runs amazing, smooth and still in mint condition...my mother rags on me for how i drive like an old man.. and i've only put around 2500 miles since then.. i checked my oil yesterday and it was about the same on the dip stick any guess on what might that light be saying before i go to the shop
