Why did CBS have a guy who obviously never watched a game of Cade on to talk about Cade. The guy was clueless.

@@Troy_Aesthetics he made it seem like we had no choice but to pay Cade all that money. And he is just a ok player. When every one who watched Cade knows he will be worth every penny. We are excited to have him.

It's crazy that the Pistons are so historically bad after so many years of rebuilding. At this point the question is just whether they can build anything even mildly competitive in the next 5 years. If not then they're just going to end up rolling one rebuild straight into another. If they manage to win more than 25 games next year that'd be a huge swing in the right direction.

@@scottwickett1273 Saying that Weaver is the ONLY reason the Pistons are bad removes all blame from Tom Gores and I don't find that to be fair at all. He's owned the Pistons for 13 years and hasn't managed to assemble a team worthy of winning a single postseason game. Not trying to excuse Weaver's poor track record but the owner has a completely miserable track record too.

Well it is his first big contract so of course he's going to try and get as much as possible. I'd like to see other stars who have already got paid for multiple contracts take less in order to win, something that may need to happen if a team ever wants to contend with the same core for several years.

Watch, bcuz the Pistons will show promise this next season, the “rigged” league will allow the Pistons to get a player like Flagg (top spot in the draft like they should have mathematically or % wise in each of the last 2 yrs). They couldn’t let them get a Wimby in a hopeless situation last year, it would have been a waste for everyone having him in DET then.

The issue is that Cade doesn't have a team so it's hard to tell how good he actually is. The Pistons roster has just been a collection of development prospects. They've been a college team playing an NBA schedule.
