Cade was blessed he had an older brother that played D1, so he saw an example of what to do to play at the next level, I had height, athleticism, and some skill, but I didn't have the proper coaching and opportunities to truly take my game to the next level, I was a late bloomer and by the time I did get good, my school's team was already stacked

@@votaxxmove7933 I didn't play organized basketball until the 7th grade, and since I was always the tallest on my team, my coaches always had me play the 4 & 5, but at the college level I'm a 1 & 2, 3 at best, so I was never trained to play guard, and on my high school team we had 2 guards that went D1 and also 2 bigs taller than me that ended up playing college ball, so I wasn't gonna get playing time either way, so you can say I'm making excuses but it's the facts

@@bucketsbygeorge I would recommend work on all aspects of your game, strength, conditioning, ball handling, shooting, post moves, etc. If you're on a team, depending on your height ask coach to put you at a different position, I was always playing 4 & 5, but when I moved back to Nigeria and played college ball, I asked my coach to put me at the 3, and now that's my main position, or if coach isn't gonna put you at the position you want, find a different team that will allow you to play that position, that's what I did, the coach for my old club was a dumbass so I couldn't play for him anyway, so I joined a different team, and even though the other team wasn't as good, I was able to play my true position and I was playing really well, so find a coach that trusts you and that will let you play your game, a lot of these coaches play favorites so you have to go to a team where the coach will favor you and put you in the best position to succeed, on and off the court
His brother is a real one for doing this🙏🙏 Respect for him and for Cade too
Big ups to Cade's older brother. He set the foundation for him from the start and walked away from having a career individually to focus on Cade's development. Salute!
This is definitely gonna be a good series. Cade is a monster 🔥
I remember watching Cade for the first time in Bowie and saw him again show up in a boys and girls club gym training and I knew this guy was gonna be great. Repping from Arlington!
