Its real simple with Cade if he can shoot (specifically the 3 ball) hes going to develope into an MVP candidate. When Cade isnt knocking the outside shot down they go under his screens which clogs the lane and makes the game so difficult for him. I think its his legs. They may have been tired earlier in the year coming off that surgery because now they look strong and his jumper looks powerful and confident.

Exactly! It's this simple. The 3 ball opens up so much of his game and how they have to defend him. He's already really good at midrange, but it will open his driving lanes as well and allow him to be a true 3 level scorer who can facilitate Plus his game relies more on craftiness than pure athleticism. The better 3 point shooter he is, the more the rest of his game will open up for him.

Playing on a team like this is going to make a dog out of him

cade got a kobe type leadership and that’s rare in players these days he’s been a leader since day he literally plays like a veteran except for the turnovers..our team has been blackballed for a while now and he don’t get the credit he should we have not put any consistent pieces around him yet

They’re shutting him down unfortunately

When we finally get the right pieces around him he’s going to be unguardable. Especially when teams can’t double him

And he doesn’t get any calls!! Once he gets respect from the refs and learns how and when to draw fouls it will be another dimension to his already versatile game

Best case scenario he can be a better passing and higher volume outside shooting slightly slower Shai

As much as I like Cade when teams actually play serious defense against him he gets shut down and teams don’t play pistons serious until the 4th quarter.
