    Noticed you speak a lot slower now, thanks for changing the pace. I felt like the older videos were rushed very quickly and with the animations, I was trying to understand what’s going on visually and also understand what you are saying 😊

    Great video. Concerning sql databases, typically the buffer pool caches commonly accessed file system blocks rather than query results. Some databases have a cache of results or even intermediate results (I.e., outputs of parts of queries often run or easily cached).

    But critical systems have mechanisms to immediately invalidate cache so data is always intact. While ones made by average developer doesn't which can lead to a mess.
