I like building models of trucks. I remember seeing a TMC trucking rig once,but it wasn’t the usual black,it was a maroon/ dark cherry color. Wish I could find that truck again.

I do love a cabover. They sounded real nice and they all had beautiful horns.

Great catches. Those o cabovers were easier to maneuver & park in than conventional cabs. I bet back in the day when the length limit was shorter here in the USA, they were the king of the roads. Now these days the only cabovers I see around are garbage trucks, fire trucks, yard trucks, & small box trucks.

Near where I live there's a farm that actually has a Western Star Cabover. It's been in the weeds since 2009 I believe. I know the owner and he got it at some shady auction in 1997, one of the coolest trucks I've ever seen.

Thanks, but for privacy I shouldn't really leak his address. He's been retired for several years too. All I know is that's it's a 1979 with a navy blue and grey two-tone paint job. And a Detroit 8v92 engine, with a 12 speed manual transmission. It's been sitting because it has a severely damaged radiator. That's all I know about it unfortunately.

Cabover 🤩 The way REAL trucks are built.... I would LOVE to see a modern american cabover, with flat floor, high roof, air-suspension etc, like the european trucks are. Only with a slightly longer cabin, and wider bunks than european trucks have... The visibility in a cabover can't be compared to a coventional
