It's an oddity to me why people don't use cabovers as much than they used to. I think they're really cool!

Yep he does. It used to haul a tanker all day. Then they sold a lot of the Macks

Whenever I was 10 years old and I went on the road with my dad for the summer, one of my stupid little hobbies was looking to see how many cabovers I could spot. I think I counted like 75 over a 1 week period. Now granted this was only like 13 years ago but even at that age I still liked the look of cabovers.

Out of all cab over macks I liked that model best. I drove every mack model except for cab over. I drove every cab over other than that. I drove a U model for a while, a 300+ 13spd rr.

0.50 that Mack Cabover was sooo clean and it sounded real nice too !!!

I don't know if anyone else knows, but this type of truck cab in the US is inspired by the European cab-over.

That caught my eye stretched out Freightliner with a chicken wagon now that's a truck 😎

Same here in Texas. Back in the 1990s the length limit increased which made cabovers no longer needed to pull trailers that were over 40ft long since they have shorter wheelbases than conventionals.

When I went on the road with my Dad in the summertime, all there were was cabovers!

not many left on the road. pretty much all i saw in Germany a few years ago. When they changed the length laws the cabover went away in the states
