The sound is similar to a bongo cajon (with snares). I assume that the name of the instrument CABONGA is composed of CA(JON) + BONGO(/A) - apart from being onomatopoetic (CABONGA might be one the words appearing in the old Batman TV series). However that may be, it's a nice sounding percussion instrument.

The word from Batman was actually "Cowabunga". Pretty close though. Of course TMNT popularised it a lot later on.
Ima a die hard metal head 🤘 but I can't get enough of world drum content so refreshing so many patterns I would not think of so well versed and at the same time so humble AKA professor Peart from Rush outstanding repritour 🤘
Amazing company and craftsmanship!
Thanks for your videos. Peace and love.
incredible Skills dude!
Very cool instrument, always looking for new sounds and ideas 💡 thanks for sharing 👍

Glad you like it!
Interesting and versatile. Sounds and looks great. I can see myself with one, tho not green.
Sounds very similar to a Cajon, I sense. Like it a lot! On their website is a Cabonga (no snares, it seems) and a Cajonga (with snares, mentioned in the description). It seems, you reviewed the Cajonga and not the Cabonga ;) Thanks for the review anyway!

I think you may be right! Very similar.
Fire 🔥
I wonder if, one day, you can do a review of caja colombiana. It is a percussion instrument that is played in the north coast of Columbia; it is very sonorous, and very fun to play if you can get a hold of one.

I'm open to that.
My son is a drummer and percussionist. Would he use this? Possibly especially since he creates his own music
