Cabo Verde - Pearl of Africa | San Antão - São Vicente - Santiago | Cinematic travel & drone video
This is a cinematic video report of our 9 day trip to Cabo Verde in february 2022. I could fly my drone everywhere I wanted, or at least where the wind permitted it. I'm glad I brought my Air 2S, because my mini 2 would certainly have struggeled to fight the wind.
Cabo Verde is a small African country, but it's ten islands are so diverse. People here are really helpful and friendly, the food is fantastic and there are plenty of things to discover. It's impossible to select just a few of the best locations to visit in Cabo Verde, because there's so much to choose from.

may i ask the names of 2 white beaches ...with palms and on which island they are filmed from 00:30 till 00:40 , and the terraces at minute 2:00 and the long swimming pool at 2:44 is it an hotel , may i have the name , many thanks in advance Stefano

The beaches are in Tarafal on the island of Santiago. The terraces are in Formiguinhas on the island of Santo Antao. The pool is on the same island, with the B&B Quinta Cochete.
What languages are spoken by the locals?

True, and many people have enough knowledge of English or French/Spanish to have a basic conversation. I didn't have any trouble having conversations there - truly a multilingual population!

Acho que todas as ilhas de Cabo Verde são africanas. A África é apenas um continente bonito e diversificado que tem muito mais a oferecer do que os estereótipos.

I was in Santiago in January and will visit the islands again... Definitely safe - even for us pig-coloured 😊
