30 years ago my wife and I went to Cabo, her first time at the ocean, I I grew up close to it. The first night in her sleep she said "The canon's, the canon's" she'd heard surf for the first time. Haha.

Why waves break up in the seashore? Some others break up before arriving there...

Deep water before they break. If it were shallower or lower tides, then the waves would break further out.

This is on the pacific side of Cabo just above the arch. The surf is incredibly powerful! People can die in this surf
