the shades/eye protection he is wearing is so that he doesn't have to look at the power cord running across the front of the porch door as clearly. I am just glad the lady didn't trip over the cord while brining him his tea and samich

Hmm... So, it's nice to know that the jumper cables won't fit around the backside of a standard 4" post to remain hidden. He struggled with it a bit and then you can see it was pulled enough to unplug @ 5:23.

Unfortunately the connector are hard to assemble. It's very difficult to insert fully. Two of three connectors didn't work right. There is no way to try again if you get it even slightly wrong. I had to return to strings to Home Depot because I could't get one of the strings to work. I'm afraid I can't recommend as I wasted am hour on each strip and had to return them.

I worked with this for a client in their kitchen a little over a year ago. Its complete crap. They had crimped the connector wrong, I was able to make it work to keep from removing and reworking the install, but this style is crap. There are a lot better options on the market now.

Lmao the jig tho cause you can’t cut 1/4 long straight if that’s case you can’t do anything else in the video

The guy in blue looks like a tool. They didn't list using a tool like him. I hope its not required. He also looks like he is ready to use a cutting torch with the looks of those goggles he has on.

They also failed to mention all the work need to conceal the jumper wires. In the video when the strip is set into the channel it appears the jumper connector is mounted to the handrail. So funny how a video like this will make someone feel they can go to a big box and with a couple of kits, make a display as nice as the opening image. There is a lot of work needed to do that, unless you want long leads and power supply modules laying around all your exterior outlets. SMH
