Hey man, really enjoying the videos. Glad there is content like this on KZread. I'm starting a new job June 3rd with my towns local cable provider. Your videos helped me feel more comfortable and I've learned a lot about the process before I even start. I'm going to be the main guy in my town so I was a little intimidated but your videos made me feel more comfortable. Thanks for the great content!

I realize I'm late to the video, but that is nice work, nicely coiled, secured. Every house box should look like that.

Not a criticism on the tech but is insane that the drop is just left on the ground it just may be company policy. I thought it was underground did I missed something?

Got another question. The cable guy installed a temporary line and we will have it digged. My downstream is between 0 and 2.5 upstream 44. Everything is great. I tipped him 10 dollars is that a sufficient tip? And does tipping prevent them from giving us a service charge for doing work inside? Do you get paid extra for going inside?

Tips are always a good thing. If any work was done in the inside more than likely you will get a service charge. Like replacing cable wire or if it was something you caused they will charge you. Anything done on the outside should be free.

The main drop line going into the house or unit. It might be a maintenance issue and nothing a field tech can fix.

Aren't you suppose to put a green tag at the ground wire and also put tags on your drop at the tap?

Also, if you're fine with a little critiquing, I would love it if you would do a full in depth tutorial on the process. How you splice, attach connectors, etc., and I know money doesn't grow on trees but a go pro setup for your videos would be sick. Anyways, love the videos. Keep up the good work.
