Who noticed the new logo animation and sound effects?? 🤭🤭🤭 You can start your next creative project here milanote.com/gethandsdirty0323 Thanks to Milanote for sponsoring this video!
The multifunction sofa bed was what brought me to this channel. End of an era.
Best part is you and your sister working side by side, easier to communicate. We only have a short time on this Earth, time is not replaceable.
Your shop builds are better than a lot of people's fine furniture! Here's to a job well done. 🎉

Then it's not fine furniture... I like Cris' work very much tho
Remember that sofa bed? That was the very first video of yours I watched and I'm very glad the KZread algorithm decided to suggest it.
My dad is a carpenter and always used a sharp chisel for the edge banding like you did. You did it perfectly. He told me that other tools are trash. So I would say: stay with your chisel. :)
I enjoy how you show your mistakes and your oh so wonderful recoveries. Keep on inspiring people
Farewell to the sofa bed. It served you well for many reasons and will not be forgotten. The new table and cabinet is a great addition and looks like it will streamline your order fulfillment department nicely. Looks great! Thanks for sharing!
I love watching how you work on these projects. Even if I'm getting anxious while watching you working without gloves, glasses, or a dust mask.
My favourite part….”there, there, there, there, ok” 😆
Can I just say on a personal note that when your t-shirt arrived recently, I was blown away by your handwritten note and personal touches in the shipment. I'm so happy to see you build this dedicated workspace where it all comes together now. More than a few times while walking around I'll see people notice the shirt and give a nod or a thumbs up. Those who know, know.

Only seeing this now. That's so cool, Jonathan!! And I really appreciate the feedback on the shipping!
Double drawer slides. Genius!!!!!
I love that we can see you recording the audio and the part you spoke to yourself. I gotta say I'm always impressed by your English. I also speak Portuguese, but I live abroad. So I may be biased, but your accent is so pleasant to hear! Excellent job, it was a lot of fun to watch. I hope MY accent is heard as I hear yours!

Wow, thank you! :)
I could tell it was your design just by the thumbnail! You have a certain design language / aesthetic that is unique to you, to the extent that I can point it out even though my subs are filled with similar maker content. It was instantly recognizable as your work, and I think that is pretty awesome!

You should work on a book of plans and diagrams of your designs and ideas...I would love something like that. Even just in a rough scrap book style!

Wow that's amazing to hear!! A book of plans and ideas sounds cool, who knows. :) Thank you!
Great builds always. that table top problem was a pain in the head 😅

Amazing 👏
The diagonal draw is an amazing idea to fit lard storage around the swing of the door. Great idea! And I love how the table top made of scrap wood was included in the design

Double drawer-slides!! Holy smokes!!
As impressive as every aspect of this project is, I think my favorite part is how you saved the table top. That stripe with the extra bevel is genius!!!
Awesome work, yet again!
That sofa bed project is the very first video I ever saw on your channel and after watching I hit that subscribe button so fast lol then I went to your very first video and binged watched every video and haven’t missed a video since. Christiana you have come a very long way in your woodworking skill you are way ahead of the game.

I love the cutaways to you doing the voice over. It's the little things. ❤️
Good work done! And your hands aren't even dirty.
I especially appreciated the temporary right-angle panel holding jig you made with two tight-fit clamping squares on your Kreg mounting board. I'm going to use that idea right away. Thanks Chris.

One of my favorite woodworkers uses a cordless router to trim edgebanding. Very nice piece, always impressed by your designs! You look like a radio DJ when you film yourself doing the voiceover- very cool.

Thank you very much! That is a nice suggestion.
I'm a new watcher of your channel. Watched probably 12-15 videos this morning. You inspire me to do the creative projects I have in mind for our upcoming new home. I don't know how available raw materials are here in Thailand but I can adapt! One thing I would like to see in your videos is more time spent with shots of the finished project. You do all this intricate work, which is great, but only show the end result for a few seconds. Please give us long relaxed time to take it in, and from more zoomed out shots so we can also see the project flowing in the space. Please! I want to take it all in at the end ♥️😊♥️
Woah! I need to catch up since you've built your kitchen from a few years ago. I'm glad you are still making videos!
I remember that sofa built like it was yesterday. But it was 6 years ago that’s crazy. Where has time gone.
The angled drawers are as cool as! An elegant solution to your situation.
The wife and I love your channel, your creativity, our awesome sushi board you made(a purple one), and most of all, YOU! We hope your business and KZread channel grow and grow!

I'm so happy to hear that you are enjoying the sushi board!! So many compliments, I don't even know what to say. Thanks guys!! :)
That sofabed was one of the first videos I watched, and it got me to sub all that time ago. It's been a great journey to watch as you've developed and grown. Please keep up the excellent work. Time for the sofabed to go in the same way that a loved car has to go. Not because it no longer does what we needed it to do, but because something else is more needed.
That is always a great pleasure to see your new videos.
I was just thinking yesterday how I was hoping to see a video from you soon, yayyyyy!
Very interesting - don't think I have ever seen trapezoidal drawers before. Very clever build. Thank you.
Best maker ever…❤🎉
Great desk and video! nice little moment saying good bye to the sofa bed.
I love watching your skill. You are an artist. Thanks.
What a terrific piece. It's beautiful, functional, and innovative. Hopefully, you can salvage some materials from the old sofa bed for a new project, and that way the old project will be given new life and stay with you always.
This has to be one of the best woodworking channels. I’ve been missing the videos. You should have your own TV show. Love the angled draws, and also the colours.
Amazing work, Cris! It turned out fantastic! 😃 Stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊
Really clever design and build, Cris! Who would have thought of bolting 2 slides together, except you? This project seems to be very sturdy and should serve you well. I have book-marked this video for future views. May the sofa bed rest in pieces.

Ahaha xD Hey thanks for the compliment! This was such a simple idea... it seems weird not to find info about connecting two slides on the web.
Man, that is the project that I started watching you channel with. It's sad to see it go, but glad to see you are still making things. Keep up the good work.

I follow you from very early years and you never disappoint. Good job. Keep it up.
You never disappoint! Another great project.
Cris - very nice project - particularly the "save" at the end. We're all faced with those, and you recover very gracefully! Also, a compliment on your sponsor, Milanote. I rarely comment on that, but have found Milanote to be very useful in my own projects.

Hi Steve! Thanks a lot for your kind words :) I genuinely enjoy using Milanote, and having the chance to talk about it in the videos is a pleasure when the product is so worth it.
Looks fantastic, well done.
It has been over 6 years?! Wow! Your channel is one of few that keeps inspiring me. I've watched a couple of your videos multiple times because your narration and edit is as beautiful as your work! Thank you so much for all the effort you put into your work infront and behind the camera! Bis zum nächsten Mal :)
Another fine demonstration of your design and maker skills. More please.
Great result. I like your recovery on the final trim. The cabinet looks quite handy.
Thanks for another cool project. You always make it look easy though :)
You make well thought out modern projects and you make great videos.
Awesome work as always!
This is an incredible work !
waiting for this video for loooong time, finally!

Beautiful work and a great video. 👍
wow, what a cool project! love it!
This is genius. I have a weird shaped galley kitchen that has walls next to doorways either end offset making countertop much narrower than regular 60cm deep to run in one line. By making a trapezoid I could have a proper sink and washing machine in the centre and use the entire space effectively (it’s also tiny). Wish you could help with the actual construction but thanks for wonderful inspiration! x
Next time I'm in Porto, I'll try to say HI!!! Cheers, very nice video, as always
Hi. I saw your videos tonight for the first time and all I can say is that you are incredible very talented skilled person. I love wood working myself I built a few projects here and there mostly cabinets but nothing compared to what you’re doing. I am so impressed with your design and ideas and thank you so much for sharing. I subscribed to your channel and love it so much. More power to you.
Another great project and video! I had been missing you and am so glad to see you back!! Always enjoy your work and entertaining videos. Keep them coming! Sending all the best!
Great job looks great
Beautiful
You are a real inspiration. Thank you for the amazing work you do.
Your designs are incredible.
Great work Cris, love how you show your mistakes and how you overcome them *thumbs up* 🙂
First video I've seen from you. Could not place accent (my total ignorance) - Portugal. Cool. I didn't think the short & long drawer slides would work well together; that was impressive! Seeing non-standard (square/rectangular) boxes that work so well = total game changer. Thanks for this! Marked to watch a few more. Definite talent & skill!
you are so awesome!!! What a great functional build, the colors and layout are perfect.
What an awesome looking shop. Super inspirational.
Great save on the table top! Looks really good. Great idea with doubling up the drawer slides too. Gives me lots of ideas!

What an IMMENSE project! Excellent work as always. The only thing I would have done differently would be maybe paint chalkboard paint on the table surface.. just somewhere to scribble notes :)
Awesome stuff.

Your builds are always inspiringly as what can be done and your design skills are beyond question. Don't be too sad at making sofa bed redundant, you now have more free material for another project in the future !!
That sofabed was what brought me to your channel. I still think, it is a cool concept and wokld love to see a revisit to the concept with maybe a few improvements. Like a latch hook system wjile used as a bed so the elements are connected and can not slip apart and create crevices while someone sleeps on it. The depth of the seating area is also something, I would like to be variable. I am still drawing up variations of the idea with pen and paper, to make it look lighter. I need a day sitting, night sleeping option for my one room apartement, so a guest could sleep over without having to sleep on the floor.
My dad always used extremely Sharp knife and it looked amazing afterwards
Absolutely gorgeous, the cabinet is pretty too☺️
for long heavy duty sliders you can use sliderrs for rack servers.
good job 😘 teacher
Exelente trabajo. Saludos desde Lanzarote. Sigo msus diseños y creaciones desde hace años.
Sooooo good. Love it!
using a utility knife or a long thin blade works wonders with edge banding, just be sure to slice it using as much blade as possible in 1 stroke, similar to cutting fish sashimi slices cleanly using a long knife. great video as always!
BIG COMPLIMENT🍀🍀🍀🍀
What a joy that cabinet was to see finished. Great angles and clever ideas and I love the fact that you are not afraid to show mistakes - we all do them as you know and yes, when your Fostner bit slipped - oh ya - been there!

Классная идея - совместить короткие направляющие в одну длинную. И вообще приятно посмотреть на работу, выполняемую на таком профессиональном уровне. Лайк однозначно! Cool idea - combine short guides into one long one. And in general it is nice to see the work performed at such a professional level. Like for sure! 😀👍
This piece is amazing, I love it!
good idea
very innovative, simple and nice designs. keep it up go Get Hands Dirty
YAY NEW VIDEO!!!
Great furniture! When the rubber of a sliding mecanisme is too hard, i put juste à little bit of greasse on it , it become smoother ;-)
Fantastic work, awesome person!
