Excellent video. Glad to see you got the air flow right especially since you had the owner's manual out which says to point the arrow up but you realized those directions were for the OEM Toyota filter and don't apply to aftermarket filters with air flow arrows instead of with up arrows.

Mine says point down but my STP cabin air filter says airflow says up so do I point it down or up? I’m confused

The arrow on each component is for that specific component. The one on the door is for the orientation of the door and same for the cabin filter tray. It has nothing to do with filter itself.

Pls make video how to protect Rav4 against theft. Maybe how to install hidden switch that prevents engines start in hybrid/plugin models...

Fun fact the cabin filter size for the 2021 Rav4 is the same as the 2010 Rav4 and 2008 Prius, Toyota must have standardized on that size for a lot on models

The 2010 Rav4, 2021 Rav4 and the 2008 Prius cabin filter are definitely different. The rav4 filters look similar. But the Prius filter very thin, flimsy and has a completely different tray. I'm a tech at a Toyota dealer and I can tell you that most models have different cabin filters. I couldn't tell you the amount of times the parts department has given me the wrong filter and to install.

Did that divider in your glove box come factory? Or is it aftermarket? I must have a base 21 XLE Hybrid. I am trying to add other bits I like. I just installed lighted door lock and window controls.

I think you can find guides on KZread for cleaning the engine bay. It is not something special to a rav4.

"They're all the same" - I just wanna point out that this is not true. There are the standard "OEM"-style filters that filter out particles down to 3 micron (or probably larger, most of them don't even list this information), then there are cabin filters that are HEPA-certified, meaning they filter 99.97% of particles down to 0.3 micron in size. HEPA-certified filters is what you want if you have plenty of allergies to stuff that grows outside, have various existing lung issues or just want to avoid getting lung issues if you live in large cities, especially cities with known poor air quality (local air quality can be easily seen at many places online, even Google Maps has air quality layer if you view it with browser). There are some aftermarket HEPA-certified cabin fitlers available for Rav 4 models, though they can be harder to find than non-certified filters.
