That place looks amazing. It's like they took the concept behind Disney's Pop Century and turned it up to 11. 3:16 the structure over the slide is meant to resemble a diving platform that pools used to have (see the Fontainebleau Miami Beach in the James Bond movie "Goldfinger").

I was blown away by Surfside. $78 a night for UAP week before Thanksgiving. You should check it out.

It has an amazing fitness center with showers and locker rooms. It was named after the late Jack Lalanne, who (according to his friend Arnold Schwarzenegger) was the first true celebrity fitness expert. He was inducted into the Fitness Hall of Fame too. Jack took exercise so seriously he kept exercising until pneumonia took him at the age of 96.

This Resort look very nice! I liked the arcade and the bowling rooms! Demi I would have bowled with you if I was there. I enjoy bowling.

I stayed there from March 14th to March 19th, besides from the loud LaCrosse team, it was really good, I've gotta say, I like sapphire falls a LOT more, but the old ads in Bayliner Diner were amazing!

'Amenities' struck a chord over here because Katie is always teasing me about how I trip over that word in our own resort tours 🤣 We didn't have the _BEST_ experience during our Cabana Bay visit, but there are still things that I loved about the resort itself - size, theming, arcade/bowling alley, lazy river, just to name a few! Your tour almost makes us want to give it another shot. After all, if you haven't been able to try the lazy river (it was closed for us), can you really even say you've been to CB?

I know I didn’t really get to experience any of the hotel. I did space 220 earlier that day and filmed 1 and 1/2 videos after this 😭 I want to go back and just have a fun day here!

I really wish more KZreadrs would review and document the CB exterior entry suites…there’s like only three videos I could find on them… everyone always reviews the standard tower rooms. Which is disappointing because I’ve booked one for my upcoming trip to get a room close to the garden walkway (of which I’ve only seen ONE video of someone documenting that walk). In regards to your video though…I love your positivity, video style, and variety of content (not just Disney… I really appreciate that!). The couple of videos I’ve seen so far are well balanced between visuals and information. Can’t wait to see more Universal content and maybe Seaworld? Or other Orlando attractions? 🤔🙏 Thank you for putting yourself out there and sharing insight into the theme park/vacation world… it’s much appreciated!

Well I’m one person and I’m paying for all this myself to create the content so I can only afford the standard room. Same thing with the theme parks. I’m not a SeaWorld annual passholder, I already pay for my Disney and Universal AP to create the content so unfortunately at this time I will not be going to SeaWorld. Maybe one day if my channel becomes bigger and I have more patrons to help me fund. Until then I hope you enjoy my Universal, Disney, and occasional New York area/Theme Park content 😃

A good room is on the top two floors of the Americana wing. At night, they light up Volcano Bay and you get a fantastic view. It sometimes puts out a brief light show that makes it look like it's erupting!

Great review. Thanks! Just booked it for my kids spring break. Curious if the Hard Rock is all it’s cracked up to be and worth the $?

I have stayed at all but two Uni resorts. I still have to upload one that I stayed at and reviewed. But I still have yet to stay at hard rock or Royal Pacific, since those two are the more expensive ones. They are next on my list and when I get a good passholder rate I will review it!

Other people have said that the Hard Rock bathrooms are small. I think it's the closest to the Park and apparently they also play music underwater in the pool.

Both are great (Dockside over Surfside), but I do prefer Cabana Bay because the rooms are better and there’s a lot more to do there. But I have stayed at both a lot, and if for some reason cabana bay is a lot more than the endless summers, then you’ll be fine!

I am not actually entirely sure. I imagine your own would be okay, unless they think it’s a safety issue. I would call and ask!

The only down side about the rooms are the doors look exactly the same and "Not" numbered. (if this is the place I'm thinking of) but i really liked it once i remembered I knew where my room was. I never got a map : Edit: maybe when I went last (back before the pandemic they just got the numbers up, but i swear to you, all the rooms looked the same, and I got really lost, but it's not a vacation when I get lost >.>; Maybe I wasn't the only one, and they decided to make the numbers bigger since the last time I came (or I just wasn't looking properly) This is just a personal issue, and one that was out of my control. It was supposed to be a "family" vacation. My grandmother at the time couldn't enjoy the park and got "forced" to go with us, so I wound up having to do the parks by myself, though I got to experience the hotel on "my time" though as i said, it can be confusing for someone who has sensery disabilities with the floors and rooms "not being labbled" I did get lost at least once and that kinda threw off my already frustrating experience. Over all though, the hotel itself was fantastic! And the gift shop! I found this really cool T-shirt of the Marauders map that when the sun shines on it the feet move! Someone i met in the parks (while i was by myself) was wearing that same exact t-shirt (i think i decided to wear it) and i went in the bathroom and OH MY GOD! It was the coolest thing ever! (still is) but that's one of the things you can't get in the parks that you can only "find in the gift shop" It had a sticker on it that said "Gift shop exclusive" on it

I looked online and I saw that there was a pool table by the pool, but I guess I didn’t see it when I was touring the pool or maybe they took it away? I don’t remember seeing one but I could have accidentally missed it! I would call the hotel and ask!

I don't know about that but they do have a family spa. Grab it early in the day. Families fight over the spa all the time!

I honestly love both resorts for different reasons. I think it all depends on your budget and what you want from your resort. I think this resort is definitely more fun because there’s more to do here. But I really love Dockside for the price and for what you get and their pool is really nice as well.
