@@vivic36 Effectivement, pour laisser passer un autre TGV Dupleix couplé (que l'on aperçoit furtivement) qui s'est arrêté à Saint-Pierre-des-Corps.

Un grand bravo à tous ceux qui ont contribué à la réalisation de cette ligne à grande vitesse : ingénieurs , techniciens et ouvriers . Cela a dû être un chantier gigantesque ! Un documentaire très intéressant ; on a vraiment l'impression de conduire ce train , qui avale les kilomètres à vitesse grand V, avec une très bonne insonorisation !! Quelle extraordinaire technologie !!! 👍👍👍Que diraient nos ancêtres s'ils voyaient cela ......?!😊😊😊

Impeccable ! il ne manque pas un bouton de guêtre à cette vidéo ! Jugez plutôt : cap, heure, kilométrage parcouru, vitesse, vitesse limite prescrite, carte en réduction, et last but not least, indication des gares et des bifurcations. Le pare-brise d'une pureté de cristal est aussi comme la cerise sur le gâteau, que de vidéos avec contre-jours sur la poussière ne voit-on pas ?. Cette vidéo est la première que je vois, d'origine française, à fournir autant d'indications, à mon sens indispensables au bon suivi de la video, sur le modèle de ce que nos amis italiens ou japonais font depuis des années… Un très grand bravo donc à Liono pointcom On est également sensible à ce que les noms de ces petites gares oubliées figurent, comme un hommage aux anciens qui ont misé dans les années 1880 sur le chemin de fer. Ils n'imaginaient pas le futur de ce nouveau moyen de transport, malgré l'immensité des investissements consentis à cette époque, pour une invention qui aurait pu s'avérer caduque en quelques années

Très impressionnant, on n'imagine pas ce spectacle. A propos, le conducteur doit être lessivé à l'arrivée, parce qu'au delà des automatismes, il faut quand même se concentrer je pense en particulier aux passages à niveaux entre TLS et BOD qui doivent être des zones de fragilité.

I love trains so I watched this in 2 parts, enjoyed the French country scenery, the various patterns of weather, the activation of the wiper system...did not realize graffiti was an issue here with most of the tags in English, that was the only drawback for me on an otherwise enjoyable ride.

Greetings from Canada. One year we went Paris - Lyon. Amazing train. Back to Paris, the same day and still had a wonderful day walking around Lyon. A nice lunch on the large carré, la musée des tissus, over to the old silk area and up the hill to the Basilica and the Roman amphitheaters. Beautiful city. Another year we went to Bezier. Paris to Bezier, the length of France in about 5 hours. Formidable!!

Technically, the "real" length of France from North to South would be Calais or Dunkerque to Cerbère, and the longest possible travel by rail in France is from Brest to Menton, roughly 1500 kms, not too shabby, but I know that 1500 kms for Canada is nothing! LOL! I am glad you enjoyed the city of Lyon where I lived for a few months, it is a beautiful city indeed, and that you enjoyed the high speed train! My dream is to travel the length of Canada by train, the scenery must be out of this world! Greetings from a French guy living in the US.

Chez nous, en Russie malheureusement il n'y a pas de vitesse comme ca... Le train le plus rapide Sapsan de Moscou a St.Petersbourg va a la vitesse 200 km/h, et seulement un morceau de route il va a 250 km/h pendant 30 min environ. La France c'est super! Bravo!

Merci pour cette superbe vidéo. Etant fils de cheminot, j'ai pu une fois tout gamin monter dans la cabine d'autorail et voilà qui fait remonter ce souvenir en surface.

Dire que j'ai voyagé dans les années 1990 entre Toulouse et Paris en arrivant à Paris Austerlitz en venant de Carcassonne, cela a bien changé!

De loin une des meilleures cab rides que j'ai vues. Les incrustations sont essentielles. Parfait, bravo, merci.

Merci beaucoup! :) I think something like this video would be an excellent way of learning geography as a self-study. I realized that, roughly between Moissac and Marmande, there is a regional road, D813, that shadows this section of the Bordeaux-Toulouse railway. Therefore, I opened the streetview component of Google Maps to take a virtual tour from Moissac to Marmande. Because this cab ride video also features a compass, an odometer, a speedometer, a concise route map, and subtitles to indicate passing significant geographical landmarks, I was able to follow the towns and the cities mentioned during the transit. As someone with a Korean background (although I have been mostly living in the United States), I find the TGV quite fascinating. History has something to do with it. When the South Korean government wanted to build its own high-speed rail, it had to find a country that was willing to export its high-speed rail technology. In the end, there were two choices: Japan or France. In this instance, uneasy relations between Japan and South Korea worked in France's favor. The early generation of the South Korean high-speed rail was based on the TGV.

Wiping the windscreen at 310 kph is in fact wiping it in a strong tornado. The design of everything on the train has to be adapted for high speed, including your humble windscreen wiper 😁

I rode a TGV from Montparnasse to Pau last year, and it was a great ride! I couldn't contain myself, I was walking up and down the corridors checking out the cafeteria, the lower deck, bathroom, had a great chat with a fellow passenger who had a cat with her; had a few beer all the while. unfortunately past Bordeaux, there was a problem with another train ahead and we had to stop then rerouted to Toulouse back to Pau, but food was served, in great rations. Took the whole trip almost 10 hours, but I never napped, just enjoyed my ride. The fastest we hit was 324kph, this train on video though goes 500kph, astounding! Thanks for the, great vid, had a fine time watching and reliving my experience!

Le départ de Matabiau, le passage le long de St Jory, de Castelnau d'Estretefonds, de l'Hers... Puis l'arrivée à Montauban, Agen, Bordeaux puis la LGV, le 320, l'ETCS N2 etc... Sincèrement quand je vois les vidéos que tu fais et les lignes que tu parcours, je ferrais n'importe quoi pour être affecté à TE. Sincèrement c'est trop :P Profites en bien en tout cas et continue de nous faire rêver :)

Guess you can watch the video where the train goes past 500 kms/h,and double speed to more than 1000 if thats interesting.

avec du matériel neuf,y à pas photo,le confort est exepctionnel,la sonnerie qu'on entends souvent est la Veille Automatique Contrôle Maintien Appui,c'est à dire que le conducteur doit effleurer toutes les 30 secondes une touche sinon la rame s'arrête d'elle même sur plusieurs kms car à 320 kms/h,il faut 10 kms à la rame pour s'arrêter

Merci Lino Superbe vidéo,avec une excellente sono et une caméra bien fixée. J'ai pas mal roulé en cabine et mon record en cabine a été 305 en 1981. La vitesse est largement batue aujourd'hui, mais en 81, j'étais fier comme un Bar Tabac ! Fais nous en des tas d'autres comme celle là.

Bonjour Monsieur . Merci pour cette très belle vidéo . A Cenon vous mentionnez la double voie pour Paris via Ste Eulalie mais c'est aussi la ligne pour Nantes via La Rochelle . Ligne que la LGV suit sur quelques Kms sur le plateau visible à gauche . Vous êtes au top pour la conduite et de plus dans un des plus beaux dépot pour la diversité de lignes . Hello! I'm from Japan. It was a very wonderful video! Unlike Japan, the tracks are very straight and there are many green trees, that makes me feel good. However, the tracks are not isolated makes me feel a little uneasy in Japanese sense.

The tracks are well insulated, there is a fence that prevents any intrusion on the line, including animals.

Whow,! stunning quality filming, fantastic run in total with in cab speed/direction etc, a lot of the early shots follow the canal/river? which also must be wonderful to travel along in its own right. Couldn’t take my eyes off the screen watching more seconds half of video when the TGV hits 320 kilometres signaling system and briefly hit 320, Eddie from Kent England.🤓
